Welcome to the Patch General Discussion thread for the League of Legends subforum. This thread is for discussion around League of Legends and the most recent patch. Free feel to talk about anything LoL related here that does not already have its own thread. While posting standards tend to be rather lax in this thread, pointless spam will not be tolerated.

Corki



Corki players can now see Phosphorus Bomb’s area of effect indicator and Phosphorus Bomb now scales with bonus AD.



“Way back, we added more gameplay to Phosphorous Bomb in the form of a travel time, thereby increasing the difficulty of the skill but not the reward. We’ve added some extra gunpowder to the bomb this patch to rebalance the ability.”

“We’re currently working on more aggressive changes for Kassadin in the future. In the meantime, these are short term tweaks to knock his power levels down a peg while we continue testing. Maybe, someone, somewhere, will get to play him in a ranked game.”

Even though we trimmed down his explosive initiations and crazy fast Dragon/Baron killing speed, we still like Kha’Zix as a speedy hunter, so we buffed his ability to maneuver in fights.”

yo does anyone know the hybrid/attack speed kayle jungle build? i saw someone on stream go something like ap/ad jungle item (forgot which one ) into bork into nashors or something like that and he just farmed all game and got really strong.

Ouch those KhaZix nerfs.....
the spirit stone item nerfs seem kinda counterproductive- considering they buffed it to allow more variety in junglers and then nerfed it because niche jungle champs like Wukong and Pantheon were benefiting too much from it.

Don't understand the thing about Coin low reward. You buy it for the active because so many teams now-a-days rely on running at and away from people to actually fight, and not having a Shurelia means you lose the run wars.

I thought riot was never gonna get kass down to normal powerlevels just by nerfing his numbers (which are still not the problem with him), but now I'm gonna give them ~10 more patches.

Then he does negative damage, at which point he may also not be used anymore

Doran's shield changes now make Sona by far the strongest Dshield bearer, depending on how the new spellblade pans out in practice Dshield sona might be a really strong solo q pick.

It's a nerf to single-target junglers, and a buff to AoE junglers, who get more HP and mana out of the passive than currently. So it slightly nerfs Wukong's clear, but not necessarily Pantheon's by a bunch.

Fiddle's nerf annoys me way more (and it's a buff in Shaco's case).
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

Some of my thoughts on changes, posted from last thread.

Corki changes are super nice, BT first will probably be the best build for Corki now.

Gragas changes won't change too much (assuming he can still clear with Q+E during laning).

Kassidan's late game still pretty much unchanged, but his laning looks super suspect right now, might drop from 100% ban status. Will depend on how vulnerable he ends up being with huge silence nerfs.

Kha'zix change on his Q is fine, could probably hit it harder on the execute. (5% or 4%?) Dislike how they changed max damage vs monster, unnecessary change imo, especially considering how much higher the max damage for %hp (and executes) for other junglers tends to be higher. (Elise's is capped at 300, Lee Sin is at 400, Vi is 300), etc etc. Khazix already lower than all of those at 200 max, Nerfing it to 100 really gives him short end of stick in execute battles.
Leap changes is super heavy handed, it was pretty rare for KhaZix to do continual goomba-stomping, usually most Khazix got only 1 or 2 hits of it, then jumps out. I would rather they hit Q a bit harder, and keep his Leap the way it was. Changes to ult is nice.
Overall the changes gives no raw benefit to W evolving Khazix at all, makes his gameplay more linear and less dynamic (evolve mechanic is cool and interesting only if variations are all equally viable).

Ryze changes, doesn't change anything, he's still going to get wrekt by FotM mids.

Teemo changes are reactionary nerfs due to plebian complaints. Teemo was fine where he was, the fact that they didn't give him any buffs to compensate for this nerfs show how shortsighted Riot was in nerfing this champ.

Yasuo changes, thank fucking god. Needs more nerfs overall, his ulti is still to game changing. Will probably force more Yasuo players to delay 3rd offensive item, for a defensive item now. His 2-item timing still going to be bonkers.

Riot just needs to change definition of fear, rather than changing description for all champs. Does this mean Fiddle can now do the insec with fear? (cast fear, animation cancel with flash, force other champs to walk into your team. lol)

Tear change is super nice, stacking it was definitely pretty painful after the nerfs.
Spirit stone changes just makes AoE clear even better than it was before, further alienating single clear champs.

Boots of mobility nerfs are dumb, it wasn't crowding out any other boots in any roles. Now they just made it really crappy, junglers aren't going to buy them at all now, since movement between camps are going to be super slow.

Ruby Crystal changes are interesting, would like to see math between Dshield start and Ruby start. Changes to Ruby sighstone is nice, makes it a bit more slot efficient.

Spellthief's passive, is this additional damage true damage? Still don't know why they keep trying to put fucking AP on this item. It's pretty obvious that supports aren't scaling/building AP like Riot wants. Should just give it something useful instead. Frost Queen's Claim's active might be pretty good in pick comps (depending on the range). Also if Riot is going to try and still force AP scaling on support, they should give this item some AP scaling instead of strictly level scaling (but in such a way it can't be abused by solo laners)

Face of Mountain is a lot better now, but doesn't beat talisman of ascension in terms of usefulness.

Talisman active is just so damn good. I'm not sure if anything's going to change bot lane except maybe less people buying Doran's Shield. I guess we'll see.

From the last thread. You kind forgot her pushing capabilities (probably strongest ADC), which is 1b with her ult.
