Sorry i uploaded as privat on NA, its fixed now

Hi,
i created a Sound Mod which changes alot of Soundeffects from Starcraft 2 back to Starcraft 1.
I made some videos so you get a general overview of what changed.

The Mod is uploaded as: Broodwar Sound Effect Mod German and Broodwar Sound Mod English on EU and NA

If you find bugs or missing sounds pls tell me and i will try to fix it.

Ohh this is nice. Really adds something to the combat, something gritty and vicious which I honestly believe SC2 didn't have from the start. Hope it picks up attention.

most of the sound effects are better than SC2, except some are also just so-so in BW imo, especially the HT and raven death sound effect (ROFL)
I wish blizzard can do some update to the BW sound effect too, the marine gun fire and the muta firing sound effect would sound far better in high res

Hey the HT death is fucking epic in bw haha. I wish we could implement this mod game wide and use it for ladder but blizzard disabled that functionality

not exactly sure what you mean but mods only work on maps, i dont think you can modify the client.

I'd love for this to be an option in sc2. Almost all sounds in BW are better than in SC2 honestly, and that is not just nostalgia. They sound more brutal and distinctive than the sc2 sounds. The Raven death sound though, hilarious!

Ignore me, I just found out it's just maps.

I would love to see a SC1BW option for sounds like the music in the menus
