I know I'm gonna probably get bad at updating it, but this time I tried harder to make a better OP. :3 I'm super curious how RB will turn out with Honda engine knowing how McLaren did last year. :x I have zero clue how well they did in testing.

Also there is a series on F1 of last year called Formula1: Drive to Survive. :D Kinda interesting reignited my F1ness. XD

I'm more interested in how the drivers will fare after the huge shakeup pre season. Leclerc, Hulkenberg, Norris, Stroll, Kvyat and Kubica. Some reputation will take a beating while some may become serial race winners.

From the minimal pre season testing, Ferrari looks strong and ahead of Merc by a bit and this should make for interesting racing if Ferrari doesn't self implode again

Still too soon to tell. During testing Mercedes were more willing to do long runs than fast runs. Still Ferrari looked solid I have to agree.

Regarding the RB will the Honda engine...well you have to look into TR performance last year and not McLaren. That would provide a better input. From a RB perspective, the possibility of having a say on the engine development might give them an edge comparing to previous seasons…..still, if the engine still does not have the power or the require reliability, RB will still be the third team.

Unless Renault improved the engine and its consistency by a lot, I'm not sure RB will be in a worse position than before. But the most obvious conclusion that can be taken from the winter testing is that Williams is still a joke.

BTW, nice OP

Oh and I recommend everybody to play the fantasy game. It is a fun simple game. We could even create a TL league (one can have up to 3 teams and the league may allow for 3 teams to be entered if so desired).

Hoping Lewis can make it number 6 with world title wins but i think this is the year we might see Mercedes dethroned. Ferrari look great and even though their car is not even pure Ferrari red!! I think they will take some beating.

Not long to go until first race this weekend, hype!

The concept is simple, you choose 5 riders and one team under the €100m budget and they score points based on their positions in race, quali, beating team mate, top10 finishes, etc. You can select a turbo driver (double points) for each race and you can make one transfer per race week.

I signed up, seems very hard to do that as having Vettel/Hamilton and Ferrari/Merc as constructor leaves you with 0 money lol.

Yeah teams cannot be top heavy xD

There are some gems in smaller teams that can score a fair amount of points (going by previous years, this year is still mostly a gamble!)

That is the issue, i mean Alfa, Williams, Renault, Toro Rosso and this new team, picking who will do the best here is very hard. You would assume Renault would do well but the Alfa drivers are very expensive and if you know Alfa Romeo...they are known in their road cars to be stupidly unreliable xD

Yeah nothing much you can do, travelling around in aeroplanes is no good and can generate blood clots and you can't do nothing if you are not spotted and close to a hospital when that happens. RIP Charlie, you started from the bottom and got to the top of F1 in terms of working.

Sad that Charlie has died RIP.

I'm rooting for Hamilton and Giovinazzi (think he is a really underated talent and good to have an Italian back in F1) mainly this year. Hope Kubica's comeback goes well too after so many years.
