I still see a lot of other midlane picks above him though - he won´t be FotM after this. For toplane I don´t see any chance for him. Yasuo´s Shield got Rivened. Well it´s a start and allows more counterplay I guess. Terrify: bad just simply a really bad change. You can`t balance a game only after the fluff. Yes it´s more realistic that you run away from the one that feared you. But jeez this makes the ability just absolutely shitty. Thing about top lane dshield is that it fucks up bully tops very hard. Blade is not really viable prepatch but starting blade on stuff Riven is viable as you can sustain with it + 2 ls quints. I would say shield change is a nerf to Mundo, Shyv, Nasus, Jax who have slow start ups. While things like Trundle, Renekton, Riven, Udyr its buff. Ori has 3 damage spell Gragas has 2, shockwave also is way better cc wise in most cases. | ||

Changes its damage when Grag is level 3 from 144+50% AP to 109+50% AP. I would have preferred a nerf to Grag Q than Grag R but I'll take what I can get. | ||

I'm pretty happy with the early game nerfs, now we won't have shenanigans like the level 1 Gragas E all-in Voyboy used to get FB on a Lulu on stream today. Granted she failed her flash and mispositioned to begin with, but that was still really stupid how much damage he did with just E and autos. | ||

Dylan spitting the truth. In most cases with solo q, late game kits matter more than early game advantage. I think there are plenty of games where I stomp early with Sivir but still lose because of her lack of range and solo q team doesn't know how to make use of On The Hunt. | ||

Interestingly enough, I've found the opposite way to success. I've played mostly Ashe and win the midgame hard by picking people off with ults. I don't think you have to rely on your other lanes winning so much when you're the one putting them ahead. This said I'm also a big Twitch fan and haven't been having much success with him lately, so I should likely take this as a cue to reevaluate my playstyle. | ||

I mean it sure does seem that way considering he hasn't been touch in quite a while. On the other hand I find it hard to believe that anyone can take a look at his kit and numbers and go "mm yes, that seems quite reasonable.". Also changes to fiddle seem quite interesting, at least from a support pov. The fear changes makes it so that if someone's diving on to you they will move away from you, which is generally what you want. It'll make it a mildly more reliable tool for peeling. It also means that if you manage to ult in behind someone you can force them towards your team. The drain changes also makes it outrange most ad carry autoattacks. I mean it doesn't turn him into thresh, but it might put him closer to the tier behind thresh. | ||
