Daehan Economic News reports that Nexon's StarCraft IP-licensed game is being developed by Nexon's FPS division (responsible for Sudden Attack), with the creator of popular Brood War UMS "Temple Destruction" as one of the leads.
Nexon is said to have created a dedicated team and hired key personnel after acquiring licensing rights to the StarCraft IP in 2025 (this deal was reported by Korean media in May of 2025, but remains unconfirmed by Blizzard and Nexon). According to Daehan News, Nexon stated "we cannot clarify [such reports]" when asked for comment.
