So basically, the problem is that XSplit absolutely sucks with streaming 720p/1080p. It's amazing for lower qualities, but I switched over to FMLE and I can stream dual 1080p streams now with no trouble at all and also much better quality than XSplit. Basically, you still use XSplit as the capture device and for resolution/framerate, but all of the encoding is handled by FMLE. I didn't think XSplit was the problem since everyone keeps saying how much better it is than FMLE, but apparently that's only for non-HQ streams. A few hours browsing around google turned up quite a bit of information on how XSplit can't handle HD streaming yet. So, if you need any help with setup just toss me a PM. XSplit will probably work better once it's out of beta, but for now it looks like the only way to stream decent HD is with FMLE as the encoder.

I have not had this problem personally, but my buddy tells me you should do this. 1) Ctrl Alt Delete and close this process on Xsplit 2) Close any browser or media 3) Start up xsplit and broardcast, start browser / media For me personally, if i try and start xsplit i have to have my browser closed, other then that no problems.

i5-750 @ 3.6Ghz GTX460 1GB @850/1700/2100 4GB 1600Mhz Ram 60GB SSD I've just been trying to get it working at 480p, and it sometimes will work, for like a minute, then the bit rate just plummets, then shoots back up, then back down until the stream finally dies, but Xsplit still says I am broadcasting. Any clues? edit: CPU usage never reaches 100% unless I'm trying to stream Crysis 2. Like I mentioned, it's super choppy even just on the desktop or playing a video off the HD. Audio will play fine but video is like .05 fps.

Go to View ---> Scale viewport and change it to what you want. doesn't work properly it makes the picture smaller but even 10% isn't enough to display my screen

Intel Core2Duo e6300 @ 1.86ghz nVidia GEFORCE 8600 GT (256 DDR3 RAM) 2gb DDR2 Ram (PC6400) Win XP SC2 settings on basic (not custom) low xSplit settings: I have a common internet package subscription, no crazy upload its like the basic stuff you get when you sign up Widescreen monitor: 640*360, 20fps, actual view, fade transition (last 2 don't really matter) Checked boxes on general tab: Disable layered windows, optimize for motion picture, show mouse, show mouse clicks Channel settings: Quality 3 Max bitrate 500, buffer size 1000, 22.050 khz audio, mp3 codec @ 32000 and automatically record broadcast Link to stream: http://www.justin.tv/tehemperorer/b/282657372 EDIT: What finally fixed the crazy poor framerate was checking the box "Optimize for motion picture"
