Clem may have failed to deliver a championship to Protoss at HomeStory Cup 26, but the heroes of Aiur ran rampant in the following week's cup competitions. MaxPax took advantage of Clem's absence to win the PiGosaur Cup, while herO claimed a double in Olimoleague and the KSL.

Also, while not played for any direct prize money, the week also featured four, highly competitive qualifiers feeding into the $15,000 Master's Coliseum main event.

With WardiTV Mondays taking a break due to the namesake host being busy at HomeStory Cup, PiGosaur started off the week's cup competitions. As many European players were also busy with their travel back home from HomeStory Cup (or just exhausted from the festivities), PiGosaur ended up being a Korean-heavy affair. However, it was Denmark's MaxPax who was the last man standing, taking down soO, ByuN, and herO in the final rounds.

MaxPax's 3-1 victory against herO suggested a shift back toward the old fast-expand-into-mass-Phoenix meta (at least on certain maps), which may have incited groans from some viewers.

Olimoleague #232

Next came Tuesday's Olimoleague #232, which was the first of three December weeklies that will feed into the December finals. Without the pesky PvP prodigy MaxPax involved, there was no one to stop herO from claiming the weekly championship. The finals against Oliveira was an impressive, all-around skills showcase from herO, as he won with a trio of Stargate, Storm, and Blink openers.

Interestingly enough, the long inactive (effectively retired) Armani made a surprise appearance, though he did not make a significant impact on the competition.

Korean Starcraft League #64

The weeklies wrapped with KSL #64, back again on its bi-weekly rotation. herO once again came out on top to complete the unofficial weekly double, scoring a 3-2 reverse sweep against Dark in the finals. The finals featured the kind of entertaining brawling you'd expect from two of Korea's most offense-oriented players, making it worth a watch for anyone who wanted more PvZ action from HSC.
