Try to kill all of the marines AND medics on this map in the shortest time possible by yourself, ignore the remaining levels because it takes like an hour to beat the map
Upload the replay of the best time to kill the last medic or marine, doesn't matter if you lose mutas doing it
you should to do it on TR 24 when connected to the bnet (not sure if single player is faster than TR 24)
SP is always without lag as it doesnt use netcode. As people mostly play bnet i would suggest to not use SP because you will be used to TR24-Low or worse.
5:00 How do you micro mutas? Depends on a situation. When u have a lower muta count, which would be 5-8, i would recommend using patrol command. If u have 9++ and especially with +1 attack upgrade, hold position micro becomes more effective, as u can kill multiple targets at once. Patrol is dedicated more for sniping single targets and is also safer because mutalisks stop at point, while hold position micro is dedicated for multiple targets as mutas shoot random targets within range.
Just note that im a protoss player and i don't have all the insights to muta micro that a veteran zerg player would.

Because there's 7 and you can use +1 attack, you can kill two marines at once, I used hold micro to kill two at once at times
I have tried to play this 3-4 times yesterday and got to around 4:30~. The problem with "speed running" this level is that 50% is dependant on muta micro, but another 50% is on abusing AI/RNG to "drag marines" in right numbers and position. Sometimes marines can form a hold position structure and it is almost impossible to break it without losing too much HP.
I will try to play this a bit end of the week and see if I can do a better time, but from my few tries it feels you just need to get the right RNG to get the best time.

that's true, it's an AI bug, but that means you are flying the mutas over the marines and they all attack and you leave
when you operate in the area and kill marines within aggro range they get unstuck so I just suggest to ignore those marines until the very end
Made a map for practicing muta/sair/scout/wrat/valk micro (vs scourge):
https://ufile.io/vge2ijso (upload #3: added "1v1 mode" (civ top left in hole), here you can practice fooling scourge AI, or even kill scourge with one sair while doing so)
Its multiplayer compatible. Not an end version though. Will re-upload and mention if i add anything.
Me and buddy spent several hours today on it and had a lot of fun. I think we can call ourselves air micro gods now :D

I realized the most important for this is ANGLES and maintaining a very tight muta clump
The best angle you're going to get is a medic alone, but the second best is TWO marines by themselves since you can kill them in one shot sometimes. This applies directly to the real game, as even the best muta micro vs. a big clump of marines won't be as good as someone whose micro sucks just killing stragglers all day
how do pros manage to keep mutas at max range while shooting? is it only possible with a+click at the perfect timing? when I use patrol mutas always seem to go closer to the target than I see on pro streams

The answer is simple: you need to pre-click two frames in advance (50ms or so)
Try hold position as well, it's a different timing and feel
