We have an exciting addition to SEL#8: the Scout Challenge!
The Scout Challenge is simple:
Play as Brood War Protoss.
Make Scouts in your games.
You will win bonus prizes for doing so on a per-map basis, under these conditions:
5 USD if:
You win the map, AND
You finish warping-in 3 Scouts by 7 minutes.
1 USD for every 3 Scouts (up to 15 Scouts/5 USD) made on a map, if:
You win the map, OR
The game lasts at least 25 minutes.
There is no limit to the number of total maps for which you can claim this bonus prize, and all games you play in SEL#8 are valid. No restrictions on matchups or skill differentials.
(On a logistical note, if you want to claim this bonus prize, **you have to specify the replays you want me to verify** as I will not be doing so automatically.)
That means, if you manage to win as many as 5 games in SEL#8 while getting 3 Scouts before 7:00, you will earn at least 30 USD in bonus prizes. This is no small amount, so hopefully some of you will show us some creative ways to incorporate Scouts into your gameplay.
