Still having trouble really optimizing for choppiness and best quality possible (though more for emulated psx/ps2 games than SC2) If anyone whos pro would like to hang out on Skype/TS for a bit and help me out

I've messed with so many settings in Xsplit, but as soon as I click "broadcast" xsplit just locks up completely. Any ideas ?

That is my results, not that good.

But I am able to stream in 720p with decent quality. When the game is set on low it looks totally fine. But when I set the game to medium you will see that there is a bit lack of bandwidth. But overall it is all watchable.

I am also having major issues with the most recent Beta 2 update, with Windows XP 32-bit.
The program can't initialize folders, going into tools > settings crashes the program.
And going to Broadcasting > Edit Channels crashes the program.

What ever changes they made have essentially made the program un-usable for me.

i've been trying to get rid of choppiness i heard if you don't use the 1280x720 res then it works a lot better.. more testing tho to get a good stream, also there is a new update just came out, i recommend getting it too

Hello guys I was wondering I usually play sc2 on 200 over FPS.. the problem is when i stream with xsplit they dramatically reduce my fps to 30++ which is sync along with xsplit what are the options which i can change so that they wont sync together? Thanks guys!

Here's a sample of the problem. Go to about 0:35 and you can hear the sound issue. Odd thing is that if I use xSplit as input to FMLE, FMLE can stream to jtv just fine!

Any thoughts on this? It seems so odd that if I layer xsplit through FMLE, it works fine but by itself, it fails? It doesn't seem like it is a computer resource issue so I'm hoping it is just a setting somewhere that I don't know about. Any help would be appreciated!

hey thanks for the guide.. i however have a problem in that whatever i say gets repeated like infinitely on the stream via mic.. i dont know how to fix this

In FMLE, I changed the Device to ManyCam and clicked on the wrench by that drop down menu, canceled out of whatever window popped up, went back to XSplit (With Xsplit off this entire time), then turned XSplit on and it works now.

IE: Change it to something else then change it back.

Edit: Although now my stream is upside down, What in the name of Blizzard...

i just tested it out with my friend and we found out even tho thats what it says as long as it says your broadcasting on the xsplit then thats what they are seeing

Thanks for the guide! I got an excellent stream going, but there is a problem with my audio where the audio slowly gets messed up. As well, it can't seem to detect my Realtek analog, only microphone and the Realtek digital output. Here's two videos which I guess, describe my problem.

can someone recommend me a configuration?

i tried 960x600, 25 fps, 700kbit bitrate, quality 10. the game runs very smooth for me, the stream however, doenst look good. for example it would be impossible to read the text im currently writing.

im aware that my upload isnt very good, but i have seen streams with lower bitrate/resolution, which dont look worse, making me think that there is room for improvement.

anyone got advice?

I've a question. When I watch NASL without any of those preminum pass, the highest quality you can watch is 480p and it looks amazing but when I try to stream on 480p, it is way too blurry and you can't even recognize anything. NASL stream on 480p even loooks better than my 720p.

I've had problems with getting the stream to work without being very choppy/laggy. I've tried all settings from lowest to highest without any success, stream is choppy both in WoW and SC2 (a bit better in SC2).

Spec:
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Intel i5 760 @ 2,8 GHz
4 GB RAM
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 1GB (drivers 270.61) @ 1920x1200 59 or 60 Hz

Internet 100mbit broadband in Sweden (Bredbandsbolaget):

Seeing as the watcher PC I tested with was in the same house and the closest servers in Europe, I shouldn't have a problem with internet.

Latest Xsplit Tier 3 (think it's May 25th version).

Running SC2 on Low Settings at 1920x1200 Fullscreen (Windowed), I tried normal windowed but there was no difference.

In Xsplit I used both Own 3dtv and Justintv.
Settings: 1920x1200 Screen region. Tried different viewing resolutions from 320x200 to 1280x720, trying to maintain an aspect ratio of either 16

or 16:10. Also varied FPS from 20 to 25 to 29, 30 and 60 with no success. Quality has ranged from 1 to 10, audio from lowest to max aswell, bitrate from 300 to 15000. I followed the sticky guides and tried to think up of something I might have missed in the options, but I can think of nothing. My PC should at worst be able to handle streaming at very low resolutions, however it still laggs.

If anyone can think of something I might have missed or just something that might help I would greatly appreciate it.

Edit: Even clocked the CPU to 3660 GHz without any improvements to the stream.
