I remember back in the days that Bisu said that foru and Much builds gave huge insights to his build orders... thinking of they were at CJ by that time is beyond... foru played one of these builds first in proleague and everyone was like:"what is this?" I think he even lost that game...

At the beginning of the intro I thought "man, that piano is corny", but with the video material this intro really hits hard. To think of what those guys went through to get to the top of their sport, no wonder they break down in tears as they win those big finals. I consider myself lucky that I still got a glimpse at the late Kespa-era in 2011-12 at least, watching the last OSLs and Proleagues live online (as always, thanks, nanashin), but as I missed the whole decade that came before I really appreciate these videos with all the great material and explanations. But: What really bothers me is that one of the two narrating voices pronounces Kim Taek Yong's nickname "Bizzoo", and not "Bee-Sue". Or is this an accepted way to say his nickname (which I NEVER have heard before)? I don't want to sound disparaging given all the great work that was put into this video, but this drives me crazy watching those segments. To me this is as if someone kept calling Messi "Missy" or something, lol

Has there ever been a final upset quite like it in Brood War? Sure there are other upsets, maybe the favourite has an off-day, maybe that newcomer is better than people think. But it’s rare to see one of the greats just blown away Have there been other occasions where someone pockets a whole strategy and style and the first time you see it is in a grand final quite like that?

A while back, I did some research/groundwork for a revolution/bisu article that didn't go anywhere. I found it interesting how I had ended up buying into all the storymaking of the OGN & MBCGame over the years, but a look at historical games shows that Corsair-DT wasn't REALLY that novel a concept in 2007 (Anytime notably making effective use of it the before). The 'revolution' was more about build order refinement and superior execution than the creation of a new concept. What Bisu did was still extremely impressive, but it's not quite as sexy as him inventing something completely new out of whole cloth. Namuwiki page for it actually has a pretty good overview of it now with some example games from 2005~2006.

Not sure if upset. I guess GGPlay vs Iris was a good upset? Good comeback and GGPlay being an eternal Ro16er. Though he did play all ZvTs, making it easier to prepared for (since that OSL was so T stacked).
