The warlords of the cups ended up splitting the spoils equally this week, with MaxPax, Clem, herO, and Dark all claiming one first place finish.

Clem and
MaxPax's Monday date was canceled this week, with herO swooping in to knock Clem out in the semifinals. The Danish Protoss 'avenged' his rival in the finals, taking a narrow 3-2 win over herO to get the first cup victory of the week.*****

Clem and MaxPax concluded their Monday participation with the WardiTV cup, which left Dark and
herO to prey upon a group of rather outmatched opponents in the PiGosaur Cup (including tournament co-sponsor PiG himself). Predictably, the two top Korean players faced off in the finals, with herO winning in a 3-0 sweep. Despite the one-sided score, the series was still entertaining in the 'let's keep punching each other in the face' kind of way.*****
Olimoleague #233

The top cup players convened again on Tuesday for Olimoleague's second December weekly. herO and Clem ended up being the two final survivors, and
Clem made up for his earlier loss in WardiTV Mondays by quickly sweeping herO in a series that barely saw any mid-game play at all.Korean Starcraft League #65

As an added bonus, this weekly cycle concluded with the typically bi-weekly KSL giving us an extra tournament.
Dark took home the final weekly title, taking down Solar 3-1 in the grand finals. Interestingly enough, the series saw a good amount of mid-game, Mutalisk-oriented play, though it's hard to say if it was a one-off or a symptom of a shifting meta.
