Do we know if the patch will hit before this?
If it's going to be on anything approaching the current PTR then it won't be worth watching.

Are you saying if it's going to play on the new patch, it won't be worth watching? Or that if stuff is still in PTR and it's on the current patch, it won't be worth watching?
Either way, not really a super cool thing to say to a community event. Glad that my event and any other SC2 event won't be worth watching because you don't like the PTR? That shit really needs to be stated to the organizers, for suuuure.
Oh you posted it on other tournament threads too lmao. C'mon man, if you think this is a way to get people to try and stop the PTR from happening, it isn't. No one has control of that. It is a good way to make people less interested in hosting events, however.

My posts aren't an attack on tournament organisers. The hard work of tournament organisers is commendable, but that hard work doesn't matter if the product being promoted is rotten. Do you think viewership dissipated during the Swarm Host meta because people collectively decided that tournament organisers weren't doing a good enough job? Of course not.
I just wanted to know whether or not it was worth me saving a weekend to watch this, and that hinges 100% on whether or not the version of the game being played is worth watching.

Dude, it's not that difficult. If the new patch or some version of it will be live when this tournament takes places, it will be live; if not, then not. How would ZG even know Blizzard's schedule or the future of the patch? You know full well that by making this a topic you're bringing in negativity totally unrelated to this tournament.
Which, more to the point, sounds fun and I'll tune in.

It was an open question to anyone reading the thread.
If nobody knows the answer then that's fine.
