Battle of the Winless Teams: Infinite Cyclists (0-1) vs. CheesyNachos (0-2)
FSL/8
The initial lineup was in flux, and CheesyNachos had to avail the services of Dpoo as a Mercenary. Dpoo is usually a member of Pulled The Boys but on loan for Code A. As you can see, the list also showed a bunch of "OR" statements showing how it was truly a game time decision who was going to play.

SPOILERS AHEAD
Match 1: Code S - JMPZ (Zerg) vs. SirMalagant (Protoss)
- Result: JMPZ wins 2-0
- Maps: Site Delta, Alcyone
- Summary: In the first game on Site Delta, SirMalagant allowed a few early Zerglings to sneak into his base, disrupting his timing. He failed to secure a third base for too long, allowing JMPZ to macro up. SirMalagant’s blink stalker strategy couldn’t match JMPZ’s superior Zerg forces, leading to a decisive Zerg victory. In game 2 on Alcyone, SirMalagant attempted a chargelot 9-gate attack with a proxy pylon, dealing significant damage but not syncing the frontal assault with the warp-ins. Despite killing many drones, JMPZ had enough time to build a superior army of roaches and hydras, pushing back and eventually breaking through the Protoss third base.

Match 2: Code A - HyperTurtle (Zerg/Protoss) vs. Dpoo (Terran/Zerg)
- Result: Dpoo wins 2-0
- Maps: Amphion, Crimson Court
- Summary: In game 1 on Amphion, HyperTurtle played Zerg but was caught off guard by Dpoo’s early Terran drop, crippling his economy before he could stabilize. Dpoo capitalized on this advantage and finished the game swiftly. In game 2 on Crimson Court, HyperTurtle switched to Protoss, but a failed proxy 4-gate strategy led to a base trade situation. HyperTurtle was unable to recover as Dpoo’s aggressive counter-attacks dismantled his infrastructure, resulting in a 2-0 win for Dpoo and a victory for CheesyNachos.

Match 3: Code B - NizmoFlarem (Protoss) vs. Nachoz (Zerg)
- Result: Nachoz wins 2-0
- Maps: Oceanborn, Post Youth
- Summary: Nachoz played a solid macro game, establishing his economy before launching several well-timed roach attacks. On Oceanborn, Nachoz’s few roaches hit NizmoFlarem when he was unprepared, as Nizmo was attempting to establish a hidden expansion with only a few units defending his main. Nachoz easily overwhelmed him. On Post Youth, Nachoz executed a similar roach attack, and despite NizmoFlarem’s attempts at a secret base again, Nachoz swiftly broke through, giving CheesyNachos another point.

Match 4: 2v2 - Parkanian/HurtnTime (Protoss/Terran) vs. Freeedom/Nachoz (Terran/Zerg)
- Result: Parkanian/HurtnTime win 2-0
- Maps: Emerald City, Heavy Artillery
- Summary: In the 2v2, Freeedom and Nachoz of CheesyNachos attempted a siege push/contain strategy on Emerald City, hoping to lock down Parkanian and HurtnTime. However, the Infinite Cyclists duo broke out of the containment with well-timed counter-attacks, out-flanking and eventually overpowering their opponents. In game 2 on Heavy Artillery, Parkanian and HurtnTime combined bio and Protoss forces to overwhelm Freeedom and Nachoz, ultimately winning the match and bringing Infinite Cyclists back into contention.

Ace Match: HyperTurtle (Terran) vs. Nachoz (Zerg)
- Result: HyperTurtle wins 1-0
- Map: Ghost River
- Summary: In the Ace match on Ghost River, Nachoz stuck to a Ling-Baneling strategy against HyperTurtle’s Terran. However, Nachoz failed to expand or tech up, allowing HyperTurtle to establish a solid defensive position with multiple Siege Tanks. Nachoz’s continued attempts to bust through with slow Banelings were ineffective. HyperTurtle eventually pushed out with a strong bio army with a lot of marauders and made quick work of Nachoz’s forces, securing the final victory for Infinite Cyclists.
