Right. But you are no loser, Sheth. You inspired me and many others when you played versus San. Or wen you allkilled EG. Or when you streamed and commented your play. You were a beacon for the zerg race, for manner, for high-level commentary. While you never won a high-profile tournament, you still made a difference.

That said, be confident in whatever you do. Obviously you're a driven guy and you have the motivation and talent to pursue your goals and dreams even through pain and opposition. You'll be successful in whatever you do, whether it be medicine, StarCraft, or some other game. Good luck in life Sheth and hope that you feel confident in yourself. You should, even if right now you're unsure.

Just want to say that Chemistry is pretty awesome (I'm a biologist, but did a bit of synthesis and a lot of mass spec during my phd), and hope you'll finish with a good grade. What kind of chemistry you like most? On August 21 2013 13:54 neoghaleon55 wrote: gogo Sheth!! Chemists UNITE!!! Seems there's quite some chemists already on TL so you can still come to TL to discuss strategies, but maybe other kinds =)

games should be for fun and hobby, and that is the reality Gaming as a profession is ridiculously unstable and not worth the investment of time

Even though you state that you have worked before, I am not sure you really grasp what working a standard job is, especially compared to being a progamer... I find your comments disrespectful to those who work on a day to day basis, and have to read you complaining about how tough life is when you are getting paid (in the most friendly/stable team there is in the scene) to play a video game, and travel around the world for tournaments. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck for your future endeavors, and I hope you will mature regarding the "toughness" of being a progamer related to other standard jobs.

in this school of thought there are multiple professionals involved , from Podologists to Chiropracticioneers to Phisyotherapists , even optometrists are making some things there. only a thing to consider , aside from the more traditional doctor-surgery that in some cases is of course really needed but in some others it can be quite invasive and alter the body as a whole. Best of luck ,Your Fan, MeatLoaf.

Sheth has mentioned that he has worked before so he does have a frame of reference from both sides. You on the other hand do not so it's pretty ironic to scold Sheth about how he doesn't know what he's talking about when in fact you're the ignorant one. I LOVE video games but I would never in a million years be able to do that for 9 hours a day, every day. If Sheth says it's tough you have no reason to not believe him. By the way Stephano was much better at it then Sheth was (in both achievements and, I'd imagine, money) and he chose to quit as well so clearly Sheth is not just an outlier. GL with everything you do in the future Sheth. As others have said before me chemistry is awesome.
