I'd say this because eventually the mechanics would be so refined that there would be better sources to learn from, therefore making it easier to be "pro". However at the highest level, everything is based on how strong a player's mental fortitude. this.
although i can't say we've reached the physical limit of mechanics, there can definitely be some more, although whether it is possible or not remains to be seen, such as more people being able to multitask like bisu, cast storms like jangbi, use carriers like stork, effecient dweb vs terran, etc etc

man, if you say that sc2 needs more skill or understanding than bw then you just show how much you don't understand. BW is extremly hard, it is brutal. SC2 is for masses, it is easy to learn and there is so many things that have to be fixed. Those games will be able to compare when all expansions come out. Then we will be able to talk about BW and SC2. Now we can't.

Anyway I agree, long term it might be good, right now it doesn't feel that way

I honestly feel that this is a very wrong move by KeSPA. I mean, are they not supposed to be the Korean Esports Association? In that case, you would expect them to not switch out a game that is followed and adored by the majority of the fans within the country that said entity is supposed to look after and nurture and whatnot. It seems as if this is solely a corporate decision, and while I realize that KeSPA is made up of corporatre represantives and such, they can no longer pretend to have the fans best interest at heart. Because in that case they wouldn't pull this bullshit.

they aren't switching out BW, they're not that stupid.

They're not switching, TLBS are not swtching and A teamers are not switching. Sc2 has no money involved, at least yet, and is bashed by blizz metagame changes every other month. In the thread at the sc2 forums the nerds are already talking about flash in MLG, ROFL.
I'm guessing they will have a paralel PL, because if they integrate both game in a bo7 it will be really boring. SC2 is so bad to watch, so fkn boring.

The best example of this is probably ZvZ... where no player actually stands out, like JvZ back in the 2009-2010 years. Anybody of the likes of modesty, S2, hydra has an even footing. ;______; g'damnit

I don't know, I sort of get the feeling they're just letting the BW guys look at SC2, to see what they think. It would be super stupid to switch completely over to SC2 now but who knows, maybe Kespa is getting really desperate.
|
As long as they keep playing bw, I'm ok with this. It's true that some matchups in sc2 have now a real "bw feel" (like TvZ and TvT) but it's still not there, so I really hope there won't be any "switch" any time soon.
|
The top wont switch anywhere. I'm pretty sure the teams are setting up SC2 "squad" for those who want to play it instead, b-teamers perhaps.
I don't mind some of them coming over, as long as BW stays alive and healthy.

what are we then?Fucking Jocks?
don't do that bro,no bashing necessary.

I think they should lock the team icons so that only people that supported the BW teams previously have the privilege of showing their true colours.
But yeah, irritating...

Should we hope that they completely demolished and they come back to BW, or should we hope that they crush face and rep BW all the way?
