Danny Granger never blew up, but he is about to lead his pacers team to a playoff series, Tayshaun Prince has a ring, and probably the best block of the entire decade. I knew youd just try to discredit my players by not calling them superstars, but whats your criteria exactly. Nash and Dirk may be confident in their skills, but they definitely arent cocky in the same way that Amare, Lebron, Kobe are cocky. Oh another name to add to the list, Gasol (the good one) Roy is past it. Sad to say, but true. Even the Blazers seems to have moved on. And after early promise, Danny Granger has developed into a bona fide chucker.

From my perspective, I can only count a few superstars that are genuinely humble and down to earth. This really isn't their fault though, as they are treated like gods everywhere they go. I'm just saying it is nice to see NBA superstars who doesn't fit into the stereotype of an NBA player with a Rosie-O-Donnell-sized ego. None of them are really cocky except Lebron and Kobe. That also has a lot to do with media spin and taking their quotes out of context. A ton of those guys are charitable, try hard to please fans and do work hard and understand that even being the best doesn't entitle them to being better than most. Can you name at least 3 incidents from each player that shows that they are cocky, self absorbed assholes?

Danny Granger is still the best player on a playoff team, and takes 13 shots a game, no clue how that is a chucker, especially considering he also takes 7 FT per game. Anyways you never really clarified the criteria to use for a superstar, even after thats what i asked for, so you are just strawmanning my arguement. Basically you are just saying that players in large markets can be superstars...

Brandon Roy's story is a really sad one. It is irrational of me to say but I have no doubt that he was a Hall of Famer. He was so good, his 2008 season: total genius. EDIT: "was going to be a Hall of Famer" is probably more accurate. Don't want to upset anyone.

lulz at Heat. I seriously don't think they have a chance at even making it to the NBA finals.

I dont think the Magic Heat or OKC, can win it but I suppose they have a very very outside chance so I included them, It also corresponds to the top 4 teams in each division ATM.

Two reasons I think the Heat are underrated for the playoffs. First, as I mentioned, your starting 5 matters more in the postseason when their minutes go up by 2-4 per game. Miami arguably has the best starters in the NBA, and likewise has one of the worst benches especially amongst contenders. Second, I think defending Miami's players, especially Lebron who combines explosiveness and strength, will wear the opposing players out over the course of a 7 game series.

Yes, and the Heat were 7.5 point favorites against the Bulls. Ridiculous. The public is effing stupid: Because it's like yo' dude, we stompin' cats on NBA Live with LBJ and Flash (i.e. D-Wade). Spoelstra telling the media some of the players cried in the locker room is fricking hilarious. What a bunch of posers.
