Since nobody took the initiative...and it's the night before OPENING NIGHT
Some story lines:
- Miami Heat...can they do it? - LA Lakers...Bynum's not 100% at the start of the season, and will they have enough for one last 3 peat for the Zen Master? - Celtics...are old...like the average age qualifies them for special group rates from AARP...their last go around for sure. - Bulls...Boozer tripped over a bag and injured himself...yeah...sure. - Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio...Nash/Dirk/Duncan's window of opportunities are almost gone...will they be able to pull off a run? - Oklahoma...Durantula looks like lock for MVP but will they disappoint in the play offs? - Atlanta...will they ever play up to their potential on the road? - Washington...will Agent Zero ever get his act straight and will John Wall pan out? - Plus others...Detroit/Philly/Milwaukee/NYK
My bold pre-season prediction...Sacramento Kings will make the playoffs this season.
I'm excited for the season to begin, but because of my terrible Pistons it's not as much as years past. I do feel LA has a great chance to win it's 3rd though. Bynum not being 100% shouldn't even mean anything at this point.
DARKO MILICIC WILL BECOME A DECENT PLAYER THIS YEAR
lol
I'm looking forward to jeremy lin and whether the t-wolves have the worst record
also miami heat will win championship. why? when the boston celtic big three appeared people thought it was a big deal and a epic lineup. But that lineup doesn't even compare to the current big three in miami. I say they win the championship for sure if they get some nice role players, develop some team chemistry, and play good defence
LA will 3peat if Kobe is 100% through out the majority of the season. Due to his knee surgery it seems like he won't be 100% in the start but he will be soon. Miami or Boston and LA in the finals will be fun to watch, but no Lebronie or Dwaynie can stop the Mamba.
PG - Tony Parker SG - Trevor Ariza G - George Hill SF - Lebron James ( did not pick james, I was late for the first round and the comp selected him) PF - David West F - Tim Duncan C - Andrew Bynum ( took a huge chance on him, hope he doesnt get injured again) C - Mehmet Okur
Util - Jeff Green Util - Derek Fisher
BN - J.J. Redick ( One of my favorite players, loved him at duke) BN Courtney Lee Bn - Yi Jianlian

what you guys think?
Derek Fisher wont produce much for a PG, sort of conflicting to get Tony Parker and George Hill, Tim Duncan is legit as fuck, he did so good for me last year, David West is on a contract year so he is a good pickup, Jeff Green as well i think.
PG Tony Parker, SA PG SG Andre Iguodala, Phi SG, SF SF Kevin Durant, OKC SF PF Gerald Wallace, Cha SF, PF C Joakim Noah, Chi C, PF G Kevin Martin, Hou SG F Troy Murphy*, NJ PF, C UTIL Kevin Love, Min PF UTIL Rashard Lewis, Orl PF, SF UTIL Rodney Stuckey, Det PG, SG Bench Ben Gordon, Det SG Bench Andris Biedrins, GS C Bench Jameer Nelson, Orl PG
but im trying to drop Biedrins for Linas Kleiza, and Ben Gordon for Evan Turner, but i got first pick (GOGO DURANT) so i might not get my wishes. First pick is so good, i had to change my team name to Team USA after getting Durant, Igoudala, and Love.
Boston are old... how many times did you hear that last year? I took LA 7 games to beat the old guys lol. Boston- Miami match will be crazy, cant wait.
So I got HonestTea and Xeris, guessing we need at least 10 people? I'll make a poll for the format if we get enough but I prefer h2h too.
My lineup for opening day in a h2h 12 team league
PG Chris Paul SG Stephen Jackson G Steve Nash G Nicolas Batum SF Luol Deng PF Al Horford F Robin Lopez F Dorell Wright C Andrew Bogut Util Roy Hibbert Util Beno Udrich BN Wesley Johnson BN Louis Williams
Hibbert will probably be permanent Util so I got a few swingman to balance out the versatility. Also might have to trade a big man for a legit guard if Batum doesn't get his minutes.

It has to be like, a 12 team league because that is a terrible lineup for Roto or H2H points. Seriously if you get Lebron with you're first pick and #2 has to be Duncan/West that means you had to wait a ton of spots, got back to back picks and then ended up in the what, Tony Parker/Jeff Green pool?
@Holcan: how did you manage to get Iggy and Gerald Wallace? 2 high level glue guys that shoulda been snagged in like, the same round.
I've picked up K-love in both of my roto leagues. Gonna be a sweet ride ^_^. Also have both J.J. Hickson and Roy Hibbert as my upside picks in both leagues.
so hyped for this season. i love the big movers over free agency. really mixes things up a bit. although lakers are still the fav for west, at least in the east theres magic and heat, and celtics showing they can still make it that far

Boston didn't add Shaq and Jermaine O'Neal last year and they are old, didn't say they were bad.
