NBA Draft Lottery is tonight. As a Clippers fan, I have no dog in this fight (horse in this race?) except that the Cavaliers don't make off with a top three pick with our 28 ping pong balls. Still, anyone have any thought on this years class? Anyone have a team they're rooting for to win the...Kyrie Irving/Derrick Williams sweepstakes (yeck...)?

EDIT: Can't spell Cavaliers.

So, the Clippers 1st round pick, which was used to deal away Baron Davis now belongs to the Cleavland Cavaliers, just won the NBA Lottery for the 1st pick overall. Allow me to point out that there were only 28 ping pong balls...out of 1000, that's a 2.8% chance for a top 3 pick. OBVIOUSLY, this makes the trade seem awful in retrospect, but any rational, statistically inclined person should understand why the Clippers made that trade. Nevertheless, I feel an urge to blame Donald Sterling for this....Q___________Q

Anyways, breaks down like this:
1. Cavaliers
2. Timberwolves
3. Jazz

Actually if you're the Clippers why even bother

This draft isn't loaded with superstars and you've already got a bunch of young talent.

Cavs getting 1st pick in this draft is hilarious though. Baron Davis is gonna be screwed once again.

It's a poor poor draft class. But the 1st pick overall? God, I'm gonna be crying all night into bottle of Knob Creek. Derrick Williams!!!! Kyrie Irving!!!! It's funny how like...10 pages back, I'm making fun of how bad this draft is.

Dunno if you guys care about administrative stuff in the NBA but Rich Cho, GM of the Blazers, was fired today after less than 1 year on the job. What the hell is going on up in Portland? First Kevin Pritchard and now Rich Cho? Both seemed like very bright guys with strong track records...Cho doesn't have much of a record as a GM but he has good pedigree and the Gerald Wallace trade was a 2011 first-round draft pick from being masterful.

What do you guys think? I'm hoping the Clippers can get one of these guys...not that I don't appreciate Neil Olshey - he can stay on as an assistant or something.
