Pity none accepted the invitation :/
Anyway, curious to see how the meta has been shaken by the patch and the hotfix

maybe b'cause of higher travel costs. Still curious to see how European underdogs perform today. Rooting for Fjant to put hands on hundred bucks for the first non-advancing place in da group. go! go! go!

Considering you'd pretty much have to win to come out ahead and that means getting past Serral/Clem it's not very enticing. Throw the patch uncertainty on top of that and it's no surprise.
Hope for some good games.

Solar woulda had a good chance of winning if you look at new patch events so far, but I don't think he was scheduling his life around this version of the patch going live on June 22 (not to mention HSC wasn't decided to be played on new patch until recently).

Haven't had a chance to see any games was out on the boat all morning, looks like shino had a decent showing otherwise pretty much went as expected
|
Lets see what kind of fun strats lorimbo has come up with
Expecting Clem to advance and showtime as second, eventhough with the recent patch Elazer could make it really tight for that second place

Solar would have loved to play but I invited him pretty short-term and he wouldnt be able to renew his id in time.

PvZ looks kinda sad (although i think showtime also hasnt looked very good from what i've seen recently).

The main problem with the match-up is Z just gets full information (often without even having to pay the 100 or 200 overlord tax), and this also bleeds into ZvT to a lesser extent.
I was surprised they dialed back the overlord speed nerf as much as they did. Doesn't really function with the current map status quo, one has to give. Would like to see some type of change in general on both sides that adds a little bit of spice in the matchup, perhaps after we get another month or so of data.

Nice bracket, pretty straight forward. Most likley to get an upset would be Elazer imo
|
Will they be playing on the hotfixed patch?

Has there been another hotfix since yesterday? Otherwise they are playing on the latest patch/fix

Uh, absolutely insane game with the most anti-climatic (and early?) gg timing.
