I guess PSG could try to fill in a gap in their attacking lineup next year if they feel like making one more UCL push, but I think most other top teams have long-term solutions in place and more versatile attacking tools available for themselves already.

In some different reality there could be a good role for him definitely, but out of current teams I'm not sure. Ronaldo, if say a City don’t find a use for his talents. Honestly I think he’d best be deployed into a relegation struggler that lacks quality up front. He’s best given a slot in a team that can work around a weakness, or who lack his quality lower down. Stick Ronaldo in say, Burnley and he’s making the difference between defeats and draws, and draws and defeats.

He's gonna probably be playing at a team like United or Arsenal next year. He's a right wing back who plays like a FIFA skills tutorial, has amazing pace, fantastic defensive and attacking technical skills, insane work rate and good shooting too. He's also still young with lots of potential to improve. Last night:

It isn't the same to charge down the pitch at 20mphs it is to sprint into the box from just outside it. Also, what's with the imperial system?!

Other than that I think City Bayern and Liverpool are almost certain to go through, while Chelsea vs RM is exciting.

Edit: Roma in Conference League is interesting. It might be the easiest way ensure Europa League next season, but then again they can also try to finish 5th in Serie A. I'd definitely like to have the Conference league path open as long as possible if I was Mourinho. We'll see if he values that or focuses on domestic games.

They lost to Spurs, drew Palace and were lucky not concede a late VAR penalty vs Everton. Obviously they're still one of the strongest teams around, but they seem to be slumping a bit for now at least. And if there's one team that can exploit such setup, it's probably Atletico. I think the tie has got potential drama written all over it.

Definitely should take up that DR Congo call-up now.

under oles first full season awb was a monster as a defensive full back. the same season maguire looked like a 'decent' cb. for the way ole wanted to set up the team originally they weren't complete disaster transfers. they're just too old fashioned to suit the way the best teams play in modern football

Seems to be an emerging trend of increased crowd trouble as soon as corona restrictions are relaxed, same thing happened in England with the Leicester fans
