BTW, Miami is funny. Just watched a fast break where LeBron and Wade both ran the same lane and ran into each other... jesus they have no chemistry on court. | ||

I remember just before the heat's first game was played, an ex general manager was explaining these very advanced statistics to analyze players. Basically, Lebron and Wade had almost identical stats which meant their games are almost identical. Essentially, they both score in the same fashion and they are both terrible terrible high volume shooters. In other words, these two players are NOT complementary at all. When I think of complementary players I think of stockton/malone, magic/kareem, or even something like rondo/allen or rondo/garnett. The heat are essentially missing a good center and a spot up shooter. Yeah lebron can play point forward but who is he going to kick the ball out to? Mario chalmers? And when they need efficient high % shots who are they going to throw the ball to? definitely not bosh | ||

The team needs Lebron to play more like Magic on the offensive end and develop some creativity in passing and better awareness of his teammates. They also need a center that can shoot to space the floor better. They need a point that can shoot from outside and guard opposing point guards. Otherwise they alternate between setting up isolations for Wade or Lebron and still go to Bosh on the post up regularly. That often doesn't become a winning formula against the elite teams, though. I don't know how they have turned out. I haven't seen any of their games. | ||

And to hell with the bulls, what about the better game, Spurs-Wolves. Darko's getting ridiculous block numbers in the last few games, and finally hitting shots. He's probably their best +/- player. Second quarter it looked like the Spurs were done. Dejuan Blair's been pretty lackluster this season. What happened to his super rebounding sense? The vaunted Tiago's playing really limited minutes, Duncan's not a superstar anymore ... and somehow the rest of the Spurs are so consistent they just keep winning. | ||
