And if the T.Wolves aren't a scrub team then I don't know what is.

I actually felt bad for Miami because Dallas threw EVERYTHING at them. I mean you would have thought it was a Game 7 Finals. Then again Dallas still has the sore memory of 2006 in their heads... poor Wade. He plays like shit early (shooting wise), manages to get some decent scoring going and they still lose. At least in this you could see their potential to clamp down and just flat out rape everyone. Still they are getting rocked because of their second unit which is killing them.

Their individual class will probably net them 50 wins easily, but they have so much work to do to have a real shot in the playoffs. But ok, the season is long.

Averages over past 5: 18 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4 blocks He's got that left handed hook shot going now. maybe he's gonna show his true potential soon. I refuse to get suckered in for darko's 'fulfilling his true potential hype' for the 10th time. Plus if it's true that means david kahn did something right by extending darko and that means the universe will explode. The Heat lost again... /waits for the inevitable heat implosion

Haslem plays great all-around defense, but he's never been a shotblocker. Joel Anthony has shown glimpses of being a shotblocker, but he's yet to demonstrate that he's anywhere near a quality defender or someone a team can depend on to protect the basket. Lebron and Wade are bigger shotblocking threats than those two guys.

Lebron and Wade are bigger shotblocking threats than those two guys. I never said they were particularly good, just the roles i see them playing in this heat set up. Joel pretty much jumped for everything and Haslem like you said plays good all around defense, including picking up a few swatted shots on undersized opponents driving lanes in help D. Even Big Z has been putting up blocking numbers in a better production per minute than Bosh. Chris Bosh has 14 at 580 minutes played, Big Z, 13 in 310. Joel leads the team with 17 in 255 minutes, compared to Wade with 17 in 573 minutes. Haslem although not getting many blocks, like you said plays good all around D and takes a lot more charges, or attempts to, than Bosh, and also alters a lot of shots.

I found it funny that I just hit ESPN's NBA page and saw in the alt of the headline "Jackson said that Bynum's extended absence is starting to take a toll on Gasol and Bynum". Wow was he right.

He brought Beasley over *so happy ![]() As for darko I think the problem has been between his ears. I don't think his problem is that he's not talented.

The Heat lost again... /waits for the inevitable heat implosion League leader in blocks: Darko. Block %: Darko. This is a hilarious season. Darko's way past the point of fulfilling his potential, he's been the biggest bust in the nba for years now. You couldn't even trade Pau Gasol for him. Everything at this point is gravy.
