Holy sh... One sentence led to 2 pages of discussion Maybe you misunderstood me - OG are good, im a Topson fanboy, since the first game i saw him play, and im a Notail fan since forever. BUT. lets be honest here - they barely made it out of the group in the winners bracket, Then they won 4 series, two of them vs good opponents, and did it BARELY. Never showed dominance. SO my point is that i am not convinced that that will last until they show some consistency. Historically TI winners happen to fall off. And they all did. All but Liquid. Sure they are not doing good lateley, there is deffinateley an issue here, but you cant say that a team with some of the best mechanical players and one of the best captains in the world, that proved themselves again and again are Tier two or tier 3 team because they lose some games. Also the only team that havent changed their roster for two years. In short Liquid proved they can be consistenly good. OG didn't have the time yet. Thats the the difference.

Dude really , dont try to spin it around, u said OG are not top tier so taking in the fact they won TI i would say Every other team is lower tier then them, as for not being dominant , they played against the meta, playing always from behind , building for late game etc, that is why it dont look stomp but nevertheless , they won TI and if go and rewatch their games, u will see how exceptionally stretegic their team fights were , their team fight execution was also flawless so u actually dont have a point there. Now let me repeat if TI winners are not top tier then every other team is below them specially liquid which is currently having major issues (dont get me wrong, i want to see liquid back but they need to fix whatever is wrong). Saying OG are good and not top tier in same sentence is irnoic and foolish on so many levels and so far whatever u have said is not backed by facts so next time u come in talking , go get ur facts straight.

Og top tier = 1.5 season in the garbage dump (since Kiev). Og top tier = such a weak game in groups (lost almost to all. Oneshoted buy Liquid. Lol, top-4 ->>>T 8 winners. Oh, Og even dodge them). Og top tier = win only 2 teams on the stage for Aegis (In last year Liquid crushed 1/2 teams for the sake of Aegis. 2 = 7, lol?).
Og top tier = "We went to rest ,we are so tired"(Liquid without rest win 2 first minors and get top-3 on first major).
Og top tier = one tournament team, just random success (everyone understands this, lol)
And now digest the obvious facts little Og fanboy.

All this flaming towards OG and we have yet to acknowledge that if it weren't for OG taking a break, Liquid would've just been eliminated from the qualifiers sooner.

Liquid just wanna go to dreamleague and collect their salary, earn easy DPC points and then go to major

liquid became relevant after a player from OG and one dude with beard came to help
mean while OG winning 4 major with or without miracle also formed a new roster to win TI
yeah sure OG is not tier 1,5. maybe for liquid fans OG is tier 4,5 trash for about 3 straight years

Liquid need to become the Dreamleague winners again. They couldn't defend any of their titles last year afaik so now it's time for them to take them back

What are you talking about little fanboy?
Liquid on top since 3 seasons (since Kuro became a captain) and Og was only 1 with Miracle. After he left they just spammed Naga/Tb. 3= 1? Excellent math then ahahahahhaha.
They never won Liquid since Miracle join then, lol (period of 2 seasons).
Og not winning 4 major, Miracle almost solo win 2 (with Crit help o0f couse). After they just spammed 3 heroes and played in disgusting dirty game with illusions push. Meta was fixed and they returned to their place (in a bucket with garbage for 1.5 season). Оg the most shameful and undeserved winner of T8 (they win only 2 teams for Aegis. 2 teams,LOL). Compare this win with Liquid last year and stop writing nonsense little fanboy.
Оg just a random team whose lucky on 1 tournament that's all. 200% they will be complete garbage in 2018-2019 again.

Oh my god...
Liquid already win all that is possible. And they were the first team who win Aegis and after was on top all season. They was on top-3 in 11 of the 13 tournaments.
You think that this tournament is important to them in general?3 times millionaires, lol?
I bet that oraganization made them play qualifications for the sake of sponsors when the team itself had other plans (relax after a successful and difficult season + top 4 on T8).

Well that last paragraph made your whole opinion invalid, how did this discussion turn into a flaming competition with no facts?

Find it ridiculous that team topic on TL is about OG, because TL fans need to drag the most successful team in Dota 2 history down, because TL preform badly.
When OG won majors and not TI then OG could not be considered great because they crumble on biggest stage, when they don't win anything but a minor all season and then win TI. Then they didn't deserve to win TI because other teams played better. There is just no pleasing some people.
Some of the things point out is so strange, that minors and majors don't really matter for TL it's only TI that does, and then talking shit about OG for showing just that.

How about we all calm down and get back to topic. This is not a OG vs TL thread.

This is not reddit, why are we having these ridic discussions

Just saw GH played a game with Noone (Noone has been streaming), and he was asked a question on TL lost quals, smth like if TL wants to earn more money and get a slot to the Major by winning the Minor. GH replied with simple "No, we just suck. But this is life". Plus he sad that he is not tilted os something (GH-buddha as usual). This is actually an answer to a lot of questions xD

This is insane. Have a little faith, Liquid always came back strong since kuro is captain. Don't think it will be different this time. And OG is the least dominant TI winner of all time, they have a lot to prove this season. They sucked since Kiew, all the way to TI 8. Then they had 2 great weeks, while liquid is basically the most consistent team ever since Gh joined.

Don't forget OG also has 2 great years when they won 4 majors back when majors was like mini-TI, so they're somewhat consistent (yeah they changed rosters tho). Just as Liquid became super consistent after gh, maybe OG will be just as consistent with Topson. But the whole topic in the last two pages is that OG is claimed as lucky or they barely won TI, but winning TI against the meta is and not having must bans is a feat that only Wings has done before. So give OG the credit they deserve, because that 2 weeks is the 2 most important weeks in a year for Dota.

Boys will be back. I wouldn't be surprised if they miss out on this major though. Honestly not the worst thing for them to have that break.
