And while i do agree the losses at TI were mostly due to weaker drafts, i don't think they drafted poorly, it was more so that their strats were limited and not as good as their opponents, wich then led to having weaker drafts against both eg and lgd. agree with u.

Wait, was Miracle drafting all the time or just game 2 against Lithium?

this is getting embarassing...

Game 2 vs Lithium was just the bo(i)s having fun. 1st half of the game Miracle didn't even played (Except the laning stage) and they were winning Then, it seems they decided to throw, just to see if they can come back. Well they almost did. Nothing embarrassing. Now they will take the role of Hulk - they will smash. Just for the fun.
P.S. If by any means they lose this next game I will officially apologize for this post.

Hoping for some major improvements tomorrow because Liquid's record against top teams is still pretty awful recently. Nothing about beating weak EU stacks changes any of that.
|
Maybe Liquid just wanted to play more games But Liquid-Secret coming up! Hope for great games!
|
If Liquid keeps it up, they've definitely become a T2 team.
|
losing to Dazzle mid... they need to get their shit together.
If they don't qualify for this major (3 slots with only one real contender) maybe it's time to change something...

At least Secret is trying Dazzle mid.
Liquid has different people drafting each day but they still end up with the same fucking draft from the previous day and getting the same exact horrible results.

Its weird how since TI, people are picking Drow first pick and have like 90% winrate. Certain heroes should not work that often. Ofcourse this game was even, up until the lucky gank 1 min before the end, that forced matu BB, but still. Drow, Huskar, AM and heroes like that should never work if they are firstpicked, especially against good teams.Stable draft, we were even, our cores were ahead the whole game, and 1 move ends the game... Cant wait to see the next big patch, im pretty sure that that will change the meta big time.

They work when one team is cleary superior with his gameplay, and Liquid is looking like a t3 team right now.

Eh, T3 seems a bit ridiculous but then again they did drop a game to Khezu's stack so it's a possibility.
I don't think Liquid is hopeless or anything but I'm just calling it as I see it. Liquid needs to work harder and improve because they're just awful right now. I'm still hoping for the best though which means I can't wait to see them at the upcoming Minor.

Lol Love the results oriented talk here :D pretty sure they didn't play since TI Let's judge them in a few months

It is time that you understand how top teams play. They don't care about qualifiers, minors or even majors. They can draft / play clowny until the very last chance they have - then they dominate. Problem with that is that opponents are usually good and sometimes they play their best and beat you. Even if that happens its ok. Doesn't matter. You are talking like Liquid gathered to play togheter like 2 months ago. And we are still determening if they have synergy. Liquid got the best results in Dota since the TI1-2 days, but back then there were like 2-3 decent teams. Not to mention the concistency. Liquid are one of the if not THE best team out there. They proved it many times when it matters. Competition is tough and will be tougher, so if you let your guard down or make a mistake you will get punished. Thats what happened to us during TI8.
For example OG won this time because the patch allowed them to draft the way they did, and they got some luck. Something like TI3 Allience patch. They were unbeatable until the game got patched pos TI. Now probably this will happen to OG, as they have a lot of potential, but don't yet have the experience, and since they decided to skip 5 months of playing probably lack the motivation pos TI. The only teams these days that are good and going to be good no matter what, until probably one or more of them decide to retire are Liquid and VP. So don't judge for a team by a game or two - look at the big picture, see some history. Liquid have insane win% for todays standarts. Yeah they dropped some games lately but so what. They are probably waiting for the big patch just like everyone else. EVEN if they decide to play weird drafts and lose the qualifiers, they WILL win the minor if they want to.

Kuro on Storm and Miracle on support. With him being drafter yesterday too, maybe Kuro is looking to give Miracle more experience leading.
