I have 250-300ms ping to KR battle.net: 121.254.200.130 from east USA. And the lag is noticeable while playing but if I play on EU it's not.
Edit: Are the USA servers located in the west...then maybe this would help with Asia's latency to US server.
How come you think malaysia and korea are seperated by ocean?
I will not answer any more questions regarding latency, ping or anything a long those lines.. I have said it doesnt lag.. therefore, it doesnt lag unless you have some cheap internet, which is easy to come by in malaysia. But this is quality dedicated fibre optics... There is no lag. I am not going to say it again.

The limiting factor of distance for internet speed and lag is minimal; i.e. most 'lag' can be overcome EASILY with even just a good fiber setup.
fxoboss paid $20k for an internet setup im assuming its at or better than this level of connection.
+ Show Spoiler [edit due to reading last page] + wow hes still defending fucking scrubs on THIS page? LOL....
guys.
fiber.
solves.
sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up unless you actually have a dedicated fiber line in malaysia and still somehow experience lag.

On topic: I am pretty jealous, considering how cheap the property should cost in Malaysia compared to Singapore

Ok let me rephrase myself to make it more simple.
When I got the cables installed for the dedicated line, I refused to pay until the Ping was satisfactory for game play. The guideline I set was that the RU server had to have a ping the same or lower than the AUS-SEA ping from the east coast. That ping is approximately 293 I had the target set at 270.
The RU server is pinging at 200, and is the laggiest of servers from Malaysia.
Anyone who further asks questions is simply insulting me for thinking that I would spend so much money on something (I mean renovations, studios, internet, promotion) if it was impossible for a professional gamer to play properly on the NA server at least.

1000 m²?? Why are the kitchen, the dining room and the sleeping rooms relatively small then? Are they like 20 of them?
|
Lol the kitchen isn't small at all.......... And thats not the dining room, its just a sun room that has a dining table in it.
|
Well that looks like a standard kitchen to me.
This also doesn't look like a huge room. No disrispect. Just my opinion after seeing the photos.
|
Wish you chose Indonesia, but I that is only because I still have a house there. <3 KL, love the people. Hopefully you guys managed to get a nice maid, that makes or breaks how easy it is to live in Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia.
To the guys who think it is cheaper to live in NA/EU, not at all, no.
EDIT: Guy above, some houses have a double kitchen. Maybe that...

FXOpen players living like kings. The team to be on right now as a player. Korean progaming houses look like factory sweatshops in comparison. :o
Can't wait to see more pictures once you guys are settled in, with equipment etc. :D

I don't see your point tbh.
all in all it's 18293123 times bigger than some korean pro gaming apartment

I love how the foreigner scene finally gets a sick pro house (which has been something we have desired for years) and all people can do is argue about the internet and the pictures.
Come on guys, be happy. FXO is not a bunch of idiots.

FXO, you are doing a very good thing for starcraft and esports ^^

Slog said I could come over for pool parties!

They don't. FXOpenBoss is probably doing this for pure interest because he loves SC2.
All the money they are putting into SC2 could probably be better spent on marketing elsewhere. For instance, a currency trading magazine or currency trading discussion website, etc.

FXOboss why are you such a boss?
