Close, but no Cigar
Action I like Action, I really do. He was my favorite player to watch on eSTRO, and it hurt to watch him fail so hard early on in the season. Thankfully, it seems like Action is regaining a bit of momentum. He 2-1ed his MSL group containing Sea and ZerO and he's starting to play better in Proleague (handing Bisu his second loss of the season), so perhaps we'll be seeing a bit more Action hype later on in this season.
BaBy After a pretty disappointing start, BaBy seems to be bouncing back. Kicked out of both leagues early, he's taken to performing better in Proleague, with his latest win being a very impressive one over ZvT bonjwa Neo.G_Soulkey. However, as always, BaBy's biggest problem is his nerves, though once he gets going his hands are hard to stop. Still though, to make it onto the Power Rank BaBy needs to step it up and become the Ace player he's suppposed to be.
Bogus Bogus has gone 10-4 in Proleague (and destroyed my anti-team). That's pretty nuts. Though he's in neither league, his play has been solid. He hasn't beaten the big names, but he hasn't really lost much either.
Leta Ten game winstreak followed by an 0-2 out of the MSL (game against Fantasy was good, game against great was not) and then losing two more TvTs to Flash and Sea. Being out of both leagues without too much momentum makes it hard to put Leta on the Power Rank, though he does have a very nice record over strong Zergs right now.
Mind Mind was very close to getting #10 for the month, but he got relegated to the CBNC section in the end because, frankly, he's boring. And he's not too solid in Proleague. While his TvZ may be solid, his TvT and TvP are not inspiring at all. Still, Mind has the potential to go much higher, considering he dismantled Calm in the OSL today. Only time will tell.
Modesty He's in the OSL (down 0-1 to Kal) and he's stepped up his game in Proleague, but Modesty still has no commanding aura. While he's achieved better results than normal, it's still a huge stretch to place him anywhere above CBNC.
RorO RorO is one of those players you don't think about much. Like the cogs in a clock, RorO is dependable. He wins for his team, and he does decently in individual leagues. However, you don't see the cogs, and you don't really notice RorO. He's done very well for himself in making it to the MSL Ro16 (where he's paired against Kal in what seems to me a pretty even match) and he's at a respectable 8-8 in Proleague. As usual though, RorO just isn't there enough, he isn't enough of a presence, to make the Power Rank.
Snow Well, before that core before cannon incident, Snow was ELO peaking, mostly thanks to his improving PvP, with which he went 5-1 in December. He's in the MSL Round of 16 as well, though he's up against ZvP sniper HoGiL. Snow's got to survive this and continue to play well in Proleague to stay in this fierce jungle that is the Power Rank.

Shoutouts
Anytime Anytime comes back from ACE and makes me think there is hope for OZ. While Sashin isn't the Death God he used to be, he's still got the macro game needed to win matches these days.
Classic Classic beat Flash straight up to make it into the MSL Round of 16. While he hasn't really been posting good results elsewise, being one of three Terrans to make it to the MSL Ro16 means something, especially when you come from Flash's group.
firebathero firebathero has actually become a pretty strong player on ACE. He's had some impressive wins, some silly losses, but the thing I find most impressive about firebathero is his improving TvP. Early in the season he mauled BeSt with a timing push, and he later took out Kal in a pretty tough match. Also, let's not forget that 3-star no ground air force lieutenant-general build now, eh?
fOrGG Nevermore will we hear The Pretender. You will be missed.
ggaemo Military-Jaedong is quickly become a core player of ACE, and is part of the reason why ACE has the best ZvT stats as a team. After getting a grand total of two wins last season on OZ, ggaemo's already played 19 games, going 11-8 over some pretty strong opposition. As an ACE fan, this makes me happy.
Hyuk Despite losing to teammate Fantasy today, Hyuk gets a commendation for being the only player in the OSL Round of 16 to remain undefeated.
Ssak Like Classic, Ssak beat Flash in the MSL to make it to the Round of 16, and it was a nice comeback (partly helped by Flash's beneficence). Same logic applies to Classic as it does to Ssak.
Tyson Tyson is ELO peaking. Even though many Zergs have been doing so this season, I think Tyson and Snow have been the only two Protoss. It's tough being imba.
XellOs The Perfect Terran's had a perfect season so far in Proleague. His two nicely-played wins against Shuttle and Fantasy helped a long way in ACE's team victory. It's always nice to see the old-timers performing well.

This PR makes me happy. Though I honestly think that Bisu is better than Stork right now, Stork should be rewarded for making it as far as he did in both leagues and winning where it really matters. I hope to see dual protoss golds this time around. I don't care who it is, it just has to be protoss. And the path to gold is pretty much set for both Bisu(if he beats Stork) in MSL(assuming he can overcome the sacred Rule of Three) and Stork in OSL(if he overcomes the silver curse).

I think the reason why flash isn't doing so well in StarLeague is because his team is sucking right now. Last year, his team did very well so he doesn't have the pressure of his team failing and went to to get 4 golds and 2 silver. Now his team is not even top 5 and he's really depress(my opinion) from that so he's doing bad in StarLeague. The year before his dominance it was the same too as he was the child labor terran.

Good PR Flamewheel. After tonight's OSL games I agree with the top 5 being in that order (Calm losing in OSL makes it easier for me to put Flash above him despite being in no leagues while Calm is in both). Good to see Great getting a lower spot, his play has been looking pretty good lately. #10 could have gone to any of a number of people (really anyone in one of the leagues and looking decent) but Hogil is a good pick.
Also, as others have said it is great to see three Protoss top 3

MY LIFE FOR AIUR!

From Dec. 8 until today, Fantasy has dropped 96 points in ELO rating. Ouch?
