So easy, even fictional, animated characters can do it! Winning the OSL Is Easy! by DJEtterStyle TeamLiquid: Final Edits
Like a dog delivering a dead animal to his owner, I feel utterly compelled to share my opinions with the masses, unwelcome though they may be. But this time, the joke’s on you! By clicking on the link to this article, you’ve asked for my opinion. You want it. You’re begging for it. So I’m almost ashamed to confess that this article contains no opinions whatsoever; it’s nothing but cold, hard science. And because all good science starts with a conclusion, I’ll provide one: winning the OSL is easy.
It’s so easy, in fact, that I have to wonder how the revelation escaped so many lesser minds. My powerful brain is usually preoccupied with how to reform the reactionary structure of the American government, the history of literary criticism, and female gymnasts. So for me to spend my time pondering how to win the OSL seems like a waste of talent, and indeed, it was: I could have watched at least three floor exercises in the time it took me to research this article. Regardless, please allow me to present my exhaustive research. By following these simple steps, anyone can win the OSL!
- Go to Korea (South).
- Go 12-0 in the Courage League.
- Go 6-0 in the PSL.
- Go 9-0 in the OSC.
- Go 11-0 in the OSL.
I can already hear the loud-mouthed and annoying among you saying, “But that’s 38 straight wins! That seems like a lot!” Well, the terms “seems” and “a lot” are wholly unscientific by definition, meaning that they have no place in a serious, scientific article such as this one. So all you’ve really said is, “But that’s 38 straight wins!” And indeed, it is. But it doesn’t have to be.
- Go to Korea (South)
- Go 12-6 in the Courage League.
- Go 6-3 in the PSL.
- Go 2-1 in the OSC.
- Go 2-1 in the ODT.
- Go 10-6 in the OSL.
By following the above-outlined method, anyone can win the OSL with a mere 65.31% winning percentage. Get a solid D average and you’re a champion!
But all this research begs the question: because my easy-to-follow steps were not published until just now, who is going to win the current OSL? The answer lies in the percentage. Only one player in the current OSL has a winning percentage above 65.31%, and that player is Jaedong. So who’s going to win the current OSL? Jaedong. You can’t argue with science.

but really, you should have waited until April 1st

But technically you could go 35-3ish and still lose the OSL.
Besides, we all know Bisu will win the OSL.
