Riot completely removed his burst and midgame dueling potential by destroying his ult. Then crippled his laning by effectively removing his Q against any competent enemy. His lategame is and has always been somewhat sub-par compared to other AD carries due to his low range, limited mobility, and rather weak steroid (after passive nerfs), but that was fine since his early~mid game were really strong. Now he's got nothing.

He still has everything that made him good. Increase ult cooldown by one second, increase stacks needed to E by one, decrease the slow% of E on initial levels. Those are the kind of changes that could make a difference, not this.

Not sure why since I don't particularly enjoy playing him or think he's that exciting, but there's something cool about the mid range caster. You and me both friend. I think these buffs will help, but he still won't be very strong, frankly. Especially given all the champs running around mid/top now. He can't match the damage/mobility of current mids, and he can't beat the sustain of the fotm tops.

The Q mana buff is a joke after Spirit Stone changes, have Blue until you get it anyway, and afterwards you literally gain mana from Q's regardless. The Slow still only lasts 3 seconds, and has a huuge CD. Changes nothing for Skarner. JitB's got buffed hard though, in combination with Decieve's passive.

It does hurt his earlygame but lategame is his territory anyway. I wouldn't mind if he wasn't permaban though, could pick up some freewins

It will reduce his damage by 5-10 starting at level 3-4, hooray. What I want to see on Kassadin is a reduction in his rank 1 Q damage, which WAS in their proposed larger changes but they decided to give us this instead. I think this nerf is miniscule, personally. Here's to hoping though.

I've been hesitant to overhype any team after Coast. LMQ has a lot of work if they want to compete with TSM/C9/CLG, and may even struggle against the lower tier LCS teams. That said, LMQ has been great for the challenger scene. They obliterated the other teams at first, but now the other top challenger teams have greatly improved to be able to compete. Still some question decision making and map movement overall, but the skill level is improving overall.

They did quite clearly say in the notes that they are in the process of re-working him, and these nerfs are just to try and make him less domineering in the mean time.
