The issue with mid in general is the lane being super short and many mages capable of just afk clearing the lane. Hug your warded side if you have to push out a bit to farm and you're pretty much good to go, carefree. there are plenty of matchups, a majority really where it's not a 100-0 situation unless somebody does something really bad. Even veigar takes a while to start taking someone with a couple drings down in one combo.

Galio/GP/Rumble/Sona ult combo just too good! Better throw graves in that list, too, he's got two high damage aoe skills that work into that comp.

edit: I guess her E and R (you shouldn't use her R for this) reset attack timer too.

I don't think I've seen him scrim as anyone else... Haha maybe my mind is just latching on to that period that was posted where there was like a 2 month delay. Or im just misremembering again (happens a lot my memory SUCKS ![]() Still the new guy seems kinda fun. I wasn't a fan of Viktor or Ziggs but I like Sej and Shy a lot.

CLG.eu beat CLG.na once? Then obviously CLG.eu is superior in every way - and in addition, CLG.na is completely awful and a joke. You don't need any more than one game to know that. + Show Spoiler + More seriously, CLG.na has taken a few games but CLG.eu does seem a lot stronger right now. It's between them and M5 for strongest euro team IMO (though all that means is both have any stability in their lineup at all) and CLG.na just hasn't impressed me in quite a while.

Crs: Anivia, Vlad, Janna, Shaco, Kog Nidalee vs Anivia mid, not sure how that plays out. I missed the first minute or 2 but apparently CLG got an early kill. Still the farm game at 10 minutes. Crs gets 1st dragon uncontested. On February 09 2012 14:06 Slaughter wrote: Quick question. CLGna has gotten beat by their EU counterparts the last few times I saw/heard of their scrims. They love the whole theorycraft business and a lot of the times like to try sub-optimal things in scrims. Personally I'd put EU above NA but not by a huge gap. NA does perform better at tourneys than scrims it seems.

Any of the top 10 teams in NA or EU are all good enough to take games off of one another though.

Well thats what I was asking, the relative strength of them currently. The last few scrims I saw where very recent (including todays) and CLGna has this nasty habit of playing the flame game hard amongst themselves. Secondly I also was wondering about the matches themselves how each team approaches them (like do they take this as serious practice or is it just to play for the fans?)

HSGG might have been blaming SV a bit harder than he should've been for his own death, but he also raises a really important point. He specifically and repeatedly told SV not to gank the lane; to just leave, but he still did it anyway. Shit would piss me off too.

Honestly I think in a month or two CLG.eu could be top 3 teams in the world (although I wouldn't really say so right now). They seem like one of the few teams that really has it together.

If someone makes a mistake during a game, it gets in their head more than CLGeu who just say "my bad" or "we'll check the replay later" and move on. Individually I think it's pretty even. SV>Snoopeh, but Froggen>jiji (sorry jiji but you're still slumping a bit)

The exact reason behind his death was more or less irrelevant at that point. It just seems like a good issue to discuss/argue about after the game, not during it. They got to become good players each individually because they care so much about winning, but after that the rate at which they improve as individual players is far lower than the rate they'd improve as a team. With better communication they'd win far more games. It's not that they aren't trying either, it's just that their personalities aren't conducive to forming better communication. They need to set some rules like: "no yelling at anyone during a game, point out a flaw, then move on" "no counter-arguing until later" Is HSGG team captain? If he is then it's on his shoulders to make the team work.
