Xypherous released his name last night by accident and all of his moves. His Q is a hook that can grab onto terrain or champions. W is a shield that increases damage a la Sion. E I forget. R is a line nuke that slows people along the line as it moves and stuns final target or something like that. | ||

In any case it's being characterized as a hookshot. So you miss grabbing a champ and grab the trees behind them pulling yourself forward. It also can't be used to pull yourself through walls since it hits terrain. That seems to be his most interesting feature. I wonder if Rito really is just getting more inspiration from other games ah la the obvious Bioshock and possibly Zelda hookshot. They already said Riven was influenced by fighting games and Marth. | ||

Anyways, Riot is releasing too many champions, I can't buy em all, just gonna save IP until I see some new champion that is crazy awesome. That's the new plan. | ||

It's the Xypherous effect; his champions (Renekton, Orianna, Riven) tend to come out seemingly underpowered, possibly buffed somewhat, then become stupidly powerful. | ||

Some champs are sometimes UP on release, but it's rare, and often they get buffed heavily the next patch and make them OP lol (skarner for instance). They want the champ to be strong, and to seem cool, that way it sells. edit: The whole release schedule is supposed to be every 2 weeks. It's constantly been changed because of different reasons since October: tournaments, tech issues, the holiday season, and the release of the new servers. | ||
