I'm so happy for DeSantis and Scott, looks good right now. Especially after Gillum ran such an a-hole campaign.
edit: im not too happy, it's not over.

It is an uphill fight for sure. No easy wins for democrats tonight. The hope is they pick up enough governors seats to undo the gerrymandering.
No matter what happens, people will be pissed tomorrow. Bitter, resentful politics for the next decade or more.
Edit: I would also watch PA, that had its gerrymandering overturned by their Supreme Court. It gives you an idea of how much of an advantage Republicans gave themselves in 2010.

Houston's finally reporting, not nearly as wide a margin for O'Rourke as I hoped

Unless you're North Carolina and you move to strip the governor of power before the democrat takes office.

There goes Texas, at least it was a close race

House is looking good for the Dems. Bring on the investigations.

Folks, it is time for some great news. Some perfect news.
|
What about Georgia? Anything good?
|
FL-26 got flipped, so it looks like the Dems might just barely take the House

at least some good news comming out of tonight even if everything else were to go south

Our party leadership just sucks. They fought Kavanaugh for way too long. No focus on healthcare or unions. Focusing on Trump when the economy is booming is hilariously stupid. My only hope is that if we lose, we are likely ending up with new leadership.

You aren't kidding about gerrymandering. NYT is projecting D+9.6 popular vote yet Dems are projected to only gain a low 30 seat majority.

Michigan's anti gerrymandering, neutral redistricting initiative looks to pass too, so expect things to change next cycle.

Hopefully we get more results from Houston, the numbers haven't updated in a while
