Can't lie, this is a bit vindicating. That Europe and the rest of the world would end up relying on China to stand up to the US was inevitable. Unlikely to be enough to break them of their Stockholm syndrome though.

A similar thing can surely be said about MAGAs.

You can be smart and MAGA, then you are one of the grifters.
You can be MAGA and not a grifter, then you are not smart.
And you can be smart and not a grifter. Then you are not MAGA.

Well put. With maybe the exception of uniformed, there are plenty of people who pay no attention rather than the occasional joke or meme they see. But I wouldn’t consider those people MAGA per se.

Amazingly states that are working together with the federal government got 400,000 dead people and 28,000 foreigners off their voter rolls. Meanwhile states that aren't interested in cooperating are busy spending all their money on drawings of high speed trains.

This is the opposite of what is happening.
