BB University vs SSG University Mini Battle Recap

If you enjoy comeback games, this series was a comeback 6-course meal! Poor poor Mong and his SSG University. They had such an emotional rollercoaster on 2026-10-18. Throughout the series, the game starts, SSG gets ahead, Mong gets excited for his team's first win... AND IT'S GONE! Rinse and repeat. Highly recommend watching these 6 games from Hyuk's and BBangHun's POV because watching them pop the fuck off every time a BB University student turned on beast mode was insanely hype. Seriously, Hyuk and BBangHun make a great energetic casting duo:

Now going into this match, BB University had not won a single university battle ever since their founding, so they were very hungry for a win. However, let's not forget the most important workaholic hustler in BB. That's Hyuk: https://eloboard.com/players/19

Now for those who don't know, Hyuk was a former member of C9 University, and you could say Hyuk was the real power behind the C9 throne. I mean, come on. Just look at Terror's money mismanagement leading to his debt crisis or Shuttle's buffoonery during his time back in C9. Everybody could see that Hyuk was the one really in charge of everything. Look at Hyuk's cold dead eyes. Look at how Hyuk handles all recruitments for BB University. Look at how Hyuk spits facts during commentary, even for non-Zerg match-ups. The guy puts in work, and Hyuk is very genre-savy when it comes to PR. You see, guilt by association is real in the public eye, and Hyuk has to clean his reputation after the C9 implosion for the future success of his university. So Hyuk did something smart: he recruited Leta and Stork as professors into BB University. How can Hyuk be a bad guy when Leta and Stork have shown trust in him? Look at how happy Leta and Stork are and look at how they smile! See guys, Hyuk can't be that bad, right? But just looking good isn't enough. Hyuk needs a victory for BB University to prove to everyone that his team is a force to be reckoned with, or else securing funding will be close to impossible and everything will be for naught. This is high stakes, folks!

The final thing you should know about this mini battle! For this match between BB and SSG, there's an added punishment for the loser: they must take their shirt off live on stream and show their nipples!

Game 1 - RiceBird (Tier 7 Terran) <Radeon> Yosi (Tier 7 Protoss)

Marine/Medic/Tank push from a Tier 7 Terran, and it was actually executed correctly? That's more than expected from a Tier 7 Terran! But wait, it gets better. Tier 7 Terrans can't hit EMPs, so how will RiceBird handle the incoming Recall that she has so expertly predicted? Building three bunkers in the main base for stim marines! Excellently planned TvP for the BB Terran, and it's all thanks to Leta's Terran coaching.

Game 2 - Tyrano (Tier 8 Protoss) <KnockOut> Night (Tier 8 Terran)

Night has insanely strong Vulture/Mine micro, and her early aggression did a lot of damage. But Nexus First is Nexus First, and Tyrano's recovery was very clean with excellently timed double expand and Gateway explosion. And wtf was that late game army movement? That did not look like a Tier 8 Protoss!

Game 3 - Dudi (Tier 4 Zerg) <Attitude> Yesil (Tier 4 Protoss)

"Surely, the mass cannons in the front make us safe, right?" - Mong

Game 4 - Aaring (Tier 7 Protoss) <Radeon> Jiwoori (Tier 7 Terran)

Failed proxy DT drop from Aaring, so that's good for Mong's team, right? They're gonna win and they'll finally get a point on the board!

Nope. DT mine drag saves the day for BB University, and Recalls to the 12 o'clock base puts the score at 4-0.

Game 5 - Dudi (Tier 4 Zerg) <Attitude> Yesil (Tier 4 Protoss)

Okay, Yesil got in very good Zealot harassment in the beginning. Will that be enough to give Mong's team their first win?

Never mind, 5-0 lead now for BB University lol.

Game 6 - Tyrano (Tier 8 Protoss) <KnockOut> Night (Tier 8 Terran)

Alright, last chance! Come on, Mong! We're all rooting for you!

Actually, no. We're not. We want to see the 6-0 humiliation and your nipples, Mong.

But wait! Tyrano blundered her first Gateway army into Night's tanks in Siege Mode at the third base! Does this mean...

No. It was just giving false hope. Beautiful late game PvT once again from Tyrano. Excellent control group maneuvering and the mass DTs were the cherry on top.

Tournament Review

In conclusion, Hyuk shut the haters up and silenced the BB doubters with this mini battle. Even now with whispers of Terror rebuilding C9 University after he returned to streaming on 2026-10-23, Hyuk has shown he is more than competent enough to run his own ship. And this is a sign of an uptrend for BB University.
