And given how high expectations are I think releasing a stable alpha with some polish to it is good justification for further delay - for that you can blame the vast swathes of internet retards that still don't understand what alpha actually means and will still complain that there are no vehicles in alpha or there are bugs in alpha etc Anyway max wait time is 2 months so im excited :D | ||

Idk like how much can he not include and people will still be like "yay its here!" ill play as soon as im able... just saying not nearly as hyped as i would be for a release of the full game... also i dont agree with your opinion on hackers... isnt this like saying if he makes the game really shitty and unpopular noone will have any interest in hacking? | ||

Firstly the point about hacking was prior to the reworking of the network architecture as initially dayz standalone was going to be released last year and basically ported over to the new engine which would be similarly vulnerable to hacking - that was why I made that point of the initial delay being a very very smart move. If standalone alpha was released with similar vulnerability to hacking people would give up on dayz entirely and wouldn't get a second chance likewise because of that initial delay people raised their expectations even higher and lets be honest 99% of people wouldn't know or even understand the technical changes made and would just see - "this is same as the mod, fuck this" not to mention if mod gameplay was ported whats the point of releasing an alpha for feedback when everything is same as the mod? They are looking at issues with mod and looking for mechanics to fix them and to add depth in the standalone I always get excited when I see new tid bits of information or even games like rust that make me nostalgic for the magical moments in dayz where there wasn't any hacking and no major bugs got in the way  Idk like how much can he not include and people will still be like "yay its here!" honestly not sure what you are trying to say here sorry :S | ||

Ive not been keeping up with it, is it going to be everything we wanted? Some things im looking for are -Dangerous, scary fucking zombies. -Randomised loot spawns (Not one location fits all ala NWAF etc) -No fucking buggy shit :D (i guess this comes after alpha and is a given.) | ||
