The WardiTV Team League returns after a six year hiatus for its 10th season! We stepped away from the team league due to the rise of the Chinese Team Championship, which eventually became the World Team League, taking the main role of a team league in SC2. SC2 has changed a lot since there was last a WardiTV Team League and we are trying to approach this Season in a way that allows us to have fun with the format despite the lack of teams in SC2.
We are extremely excited to welcome Crate Entertainment as the sponsor of this tournament - this event would not be happening without them. Check our their awesome games such as Grim Dawn or Farthest Frontier by clicking here.

Team Rules
For any established organisations that have a StarCraft 2 team there are no restrictions for signing up as this team - though you will need a minimum of three players in order to participate. Any player officially part of your team is eligible to partake. New additions during the season after the first matches have started must be confirmed with our admin team.
We will also be allowing players to combine themselves into a team just for this event, though there are some restrictions in this situation:
Team must have a designated leader to communicate with admin team.
Team must create a team name for the event.
Team cannot have less than 3 players but also may not have more than 4 players.
Team cannot have more than 2 players above 3000 Aligulac rating from the February 4th Aligulac Ranking (List 416) - http://aligulac.com/periods/416/?sort=&race=ptzrs&nats=all
Team will have any prize money split evenly between players on the team.
Format
The event starts with a Round Robin group stage - depending on sign-ups we will host either 1 or 2 groups. We may hold qualifiers depending on the sign-ups, but this will be announced later. The aim is for teams to play around 5 round robin matches in group stage before advancing to a double elimination playoff bracket.
Match format will be BO7 pro-league format, with 6 BO1 games predetermined and an ace match. Four games will be played as 1v1 and two games will be played as 2v2. The ace match will be 1v1. All six predetermined games are played regardless of the score.
Teams may not use the same player more than twice during all 1v1 games of a match (this includes the ace match). Teams may not use the same 2v2 team more than once in a match - so for each 2v2 game you must use a different player combination.
Playoffs will feature the same match format but games will be BO3 instead of BO1 - apart from the ace match which will remain BO1.
Dates
Sign-ups are open until March 1st. Sign-up by messaging Wardi on Discord.
Group stages March 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th - more days in this period may be added if needed. Teams will not need to play on all days. We will coordinate with team leaders to accommodate scheduling requests.
Playoffs April 10th, 11th, 12th.
Default time is 1pm CET / 9pm KST for the first match of each day but as mentioned we will accommodate schedules as needed.
