Guys who complain about the hacks/glitches of the Dayz mod should give a try on private servers. I personally play on dayzRP which is kinda hard to join since the application u send might take a while to get approved, but its worth it. I play there the past 3+ months, am in a big clan called SVR and having a blast. Apart from that from what I have seen dayZ standalone doesnt look nice to me. ps: and yes I am wearing a ghillie suit.
So the standalone seem so be close to release i bet its gonna be released this month or next, or rocket is gonna fuck us all again and never releases it.
he also predicted the game would release in july, august, september and then gave trying to see the future.....although it seems he is back to his old ways
if you want to be pro at orientation I suggest playing Rust. .There are no maps, no compasses, no nothing. You have to use the sun and mountains to navigate.
Holding a compass like you are holding a baby... That's one of the few things that will make dayz standalone "stand alone" cause its gonna be crap and people will keep playing dayz mod.

Yes. I always base my decision on which game to buy on the important question of "How does the character hold his compass?". It's far more reliable than metacritic!
