He has had better looks than these but the vids aren't up anywhere.

Lakers and celtics, with their two back to back finals visits, is the closest thing to a rivalry that the Celtics have.

The Celtics will be getting worse next year and the Knicks getting better there isn't a good chance of rivalry. Add in the fact that the Celtics actually praised the Knicks and well there goes any bad blood.

for the record both teams starters are 31.5 years old. Lakers are 29 through their whole bench, this is with leaving out Sasha, who is younger than their average, and not adding Joe Smith who is above their average. The Celtics are 28 for their whole team, so actually overall the Celtics are younger.

They will definitely be getting worse, but that's a lot different from saying they are going to just downright drop to the bottom of the East. Also age does matter, but the most important part is mileage. KG and Shaq have a ton of games on them plus past injuries. Whereas Kobe hasn't had significant injuries and reoccurring nags the way Shaq and KG have. The only player the Lakers ever had to worry about is Bynum. Everyone else has been pretty healthy when compared to the Celtics. It's not just strictly age, it's the mileage. Joe smith just got traded to the Lakers yesterday so I doubt he's even relevant. KG Shaq Pierce Allen Rondo vs Bynum Kobe Gasol Fisher Artest The Celtics starters are at the end of the line while LA has a few good years left in Gasol/Artest/Kobe.

If thats the case, Fisher will soon retire, and Bryant will most likely retire after his current contract. Ron is only 2 years younger than Paul Pierce, but said that he wants to pursue other options, such as the NFL, he is the most likely to retire, aside from Fisher, of all the starters for the Lakers. Pau is 30, so he does have some years left But i mean, lets be realistic, no one is going to retire, barring injuries. Ray Allen is not going to stop, he is the best in the NBA for taking care of his body, and a shooter, he can last until 40, he just got 10 million a year, its not like he settled for the veterans minimum. Paul Pierce isnt going to retire, why would you say this? You are aware he is only a year younger than Kobe, right? Where did you read KG would retire, i doubt he will give up 20 million dollars because of "mileage" Shaq publicly stated that if a CBA happens he would gladly play in Europe, if not he would finish out his 2 year contract with Boston, so i wouldnt be to enthusiastic about him leaving either. You're putting a lot of speculation into saying the Celtics will retire when nothing has pointed that way, including the 45 million that are going towards the big three next year, barring none retire. Once again, they are just as old as the Lakers, so stop saying that the Celtics are finished after this year, ive heard it since 2008 and its been proven anything but true.
