i think she's a fine commentator ... and the only "problem" (if you would call it that) was the first time she was doing GSL ... just too fast (similar to Husky fast)

however i could still understand what she was saying ... which is why it wasn't even a problem for me

I've never signed up for these group things before so I feel a little odd posting here now. I suppose I want to support her because the amount of hate she is getting is really disproportionate.

I think she is an enthusiastic and able caster and support her.
She will improve over time to become a great caster.

I am gradually becoming a Kelly fan. Her level of commentary has gotten significantly better even since the beginning of code A. I never had any trouble understanding her accent. I get the impression that she is working really hard and it's paying off, so I say keep up the good work!

I'm not really into the whole 'fanclub' thing, and I'm not really interested in joining this one either, but I'd just like to pop in here and say that I'm glad somebody started up a fanclub for her. I think Kelly's an entertaining, enthusiastic commentator and I certainly don't think she deserves all the hate she's been getting. She has my support! =)

I think she does a great job.

I can understand her just fine- she has game sense enough to point out what matters, knows builds/strats, and she has good chemistry with both the other casters.

I've been supporting her on the GOM forums... trying to balance out the unfounded hate.

Kelly's knowledge and understanding of Starcraft is solid, IMO. She does her homework also, which I like. Her observations enrich the broadcasts, and I look forward to watching her grow as a caster.

I don't think it's her fault she has a thick accent, and she's doing her best, so I think that's enough for now. Some of her comments I've found to be lacking game-sense, but again, can be solved by more casting experience and paying close attention to how Tastosis see things.

I listened to her during HuK's games, and did a comparison to HuK's first round game and holy she's improved so much! She's enunciating her words better, she's not getting overly excited, yet keeping enthusiasm and her accent doesn't bother me nearly as much anymore. She's starting to grow on me. :D

We here at Blizzard have to balance the cards for casuals as well as for professional players. We felt that having the card too costly was disuading players from using it in their Decks. Having caster cards at slightly reduced costs will help produce more interesting macro-based games.

Having had the pleasure of listening her casting of the SEA tournaments before she hit the GSL i'd say people need to stop with the accent hate, I really don't understand how anyone can say that it's such a thick accent you can't make out her words - open your ears.

Also the fact she anounces things as soon as they happen and not half to 3/4 of the way done on the production tab makes her casting even better then Tastosis ^^

I like her, she's a breath of fresh air compared to tastless/artosis/every other white 20 year old american male casting/commentating SC2 matches. Nothing against tastosis (I love them both) but in this bubble community of TL we have our in-jokes etc. and it can get tiresome seeing people behave in a more and more homogenised way for fear of being ostracised by the community.

Sometimes I think there's just too much pent-up nerd rage on these forums...as if bash a cute girl casting your favorite game. She genuinely loves SC2 and is decent at it too, she's not a pretty 'sex sells' puppet thrown into the casting booth by GOM who has no idea what's going on.
