Obviously that's not the only thing important in a commenator, but it is definitely a BIG one in my opinion. I'm not hating on tasteless either, I think his commentary, synergy with artosis, and humor still make him a "better" caster than kelly slightly, but the synergy and humor of kelly will grow as she continues to get more comfortable with her position. See the aforementioned hi five fakeout for evidence of this.

This seriously isn't needed, you want to add asian diversity into a predominantly asian dominated scene? She isn't casting the IEM, she is casting in Korea.

Most people probably dont realize this, but for being born and raised in singapore, her english is really really good.

I dont think people realize how HARD it is for a person from her part of the world to learn to speak and understand english. As you might know, asian languages are fundamentally different from ours on the most basic level of speech; how you articulate speech. If you where to learn chinese or any other east-asian language you would pretty quickly understand the technical difficulities, because your vocal cords are not trained to the movements that those languages are built around, and it works the other way around. Listen to John for example, who is a very talented and hard working indivudual, but even he has a very hard time pronouncing certain words and phrases. I think its remarkable that kelly can speak and pronounce english so well and at such a fast pace (hehe) because most singaproreans could never come close to her level even if they trained for 25 years. SO WHAT if her pronounciation of some units/abilities is not perfect. She might say "Borrow" and "Steem" but its not like you dont understand that she is refering to Burrow/Stim.

You get the message, so why be bothered?

2. She has unquestionable passion and joy for what she is doing. She radiates energy and her voice is filled with excitement and enthusiasm wich is refreshing and in my opinion makes the game more exciting to watch, and her interest in the game and what happens on the screen is very convincing.

3. She has already proved to be highly Observant, Catching small details and paying attention to everything that goes on.

4. She has Improved with every set so far and i think its safe to assume that she listens to feedback. Some issues are easy to solve (talking slower) other things require more time and training (learning how to pronounce certain words/letters better) but im pretty sure that this girl will be a top-notch caster in a couple of months if we just give her time to improve and adapt to her new life in Korea.

i mean, how often do you get the chance to hear a cute girl from singapore commentate a game that you love? just think about that for a minute or two ^_^
