The standard economical opening is 10 supply, 12 rax, 13 gas, 15 Orbital Command.

Just a thread where people make comments on a game as it's happening, the idea being if you can't watch the game you could go to the live report and see what is happening in it. I think this is what it is anyway.

and also, if i highlight a group how do i remove some units from the hand full of units? for eg: i quickly grab 7 probes but i only need to transfer 3 into gas - how do i remove the remaining 4?

How effective is this? Is there a particular technique to it? It's not terribly effective, but once you get the 5 minerals with your worker, you can simply hit 'c' or 'return cargo' to make the worker return to your main building (it's great if your worker gets surrounded).

Attack moving is a+click (on the ground). Shift is used to queue commands, so if you moved your units, then shift+a-moved them, they won't a-move until they finish their previous order. Two ways to remove units from a group. Either control click them on the screen (if already selected), or you can click on their little portrait in the bottom middle of the screen (will remove one at a time). Question: What amount of spines/lings/banes is good to hold off a marine timing push just as stim is finishing and siege is done. (20-30 marines, 5 tanks)?

For me, it has always been a question. I normally just eyeball it. Example: 20 marines and 4 marauders incoming. How many lings and banelings should I have?

It is possible for teams because a new team uses the MMR of all its players as a starting point. If 3 people that are already in diamond 3v3 form a new team, they will likely be placed into diamond.

You can change direction and it will continue dropping. Needless to say, applies to overlord and warp prisms as well. So if I have about 6 dropships dropping at the opponent's main, I have to d 'click' all 6 ?

PS: (I open 14gas/14pool for lingbane, i just want to know if i should go allin, pressure or back off and expand myself) It is VERY risky and VERY hard to hold a 14hatch against a speedling / speedling banling opening, but doable. Ret held yesterday in the grand finals of assembly.

Further: I've saw a replay of Haypro v LeenockFoU, and both 14 Hatched, so I'm guessing it's pretty standard in Kor, but depending on server (if you are playing on US), you should be prepared for speeling/baneling build. Also, my recent games on US have resulted in many 1 base roach plays, so 14 hatch into speedlings works out pretty well for me.
