Picked Vaul and Diggity yeah i agree with this, Trozz's video didn't have enough commentary value; seemed to me he was just looking for words that mix well together. even though it was very entertaining and origional, gotta give him props but not good enough for my vote. voted 1. vaul and 2. diggity Very fun event, thx TL

He talks about build orders, building placement, he makes predictions and says how the units ought to be controlled. He points out all the key turning points in the game. Having a script, or at least some notes, is an excellent idea for a commentary in this format (not live). I could understand wanting to perform so that it doesn't sound scripted or rehearsed but the limerick format made it okay. The rhyming is certainly a gimmick but not in any negative sense. Rhyming is fun to hear and it sounded no more forced than commentators who talk to avoid dead air. To each his own I guess but I find since in the TSL its spontaneous commentary, its better to show how well you do in that. As a fun youtube commentary of some1 owning the most retarded guy in the SC community it was pretty hilarious. As a TSL cast it would be bad yes

Vaul -- had a good commentating voice, seemed generally on top of the builds and the action. Only real negative comment is that he got the players' names mixed up frequently. Diggity -- talked about player backgrounds a lot, said "in the field" way, way too much, had little to no excitement in his voice, completely missed cloud's psi count being higher than g5's (and what that meant about their respective probe counts) for about two minutes, then when he finally noticed it he was "confused". kept talking the whole game, a bit monotonous, but added good insight at times. Trozz -- very gimmicky and overly dramatic commentary, a lot of the individual limericks and voice stylizations felt very forced. definitely a creative style, but I was glad it was a short game. Moletrap -- after the first five minutes I had little confidence left that he was on top of the flow of the game... good excitement while g5 was saving his natural, but not quite at the right timing; g5 had already saved his natural while moletrap was still in excitement mode. overall poor battle and game analysis imo. AlexLawrie - voice was very distracting, commentary came across as whimsical and amateurish dejavu -- bit of a confusing introduction to the game talking about the structure of TSL, but the game heated up quickly so it wasn't a big deal. good excitement, analysis was pretty accurate. I lol'd at the dt comment when he was questioning whether it could kill an scv in one hit with +1, but forgivable since it is occasionally relevant in other matchups. overall good commentary and I enjoyed the game as well. easy favorite so far despite not having the best commentating voice. iccup.raelcun - small screen, not nearly as good as dejavu on this game. glad I watched dejavu's first because watching this first would've spoiled his commentary for me. stipulation - meh, nothing really negative except his voice started grating on me after a while, especially during the action parts. "oh my gyoodness" huskythehusky -- finally a decent commentating voice, haven't had one since vaul. but whoa wait a second, during the action parts husky's voice definitely loses its quality and enunciation. good observing of the game, stayed on top of the action pretty well. probably my third favorite so far. tomphoenix -- honestly I was tired of listening to commentaries at this point and the quiet voice and accent made me not want to watch this one very much... so I skipped around a bit and I didn't really see very much action, it was kind of a slow game and not a very good choice for a commentary. 1. dejavu119 2. vaul 3. huskythehusky 4. trozz 5. diggity after that they're all not very good imo so I'll stop ranking them.
