Everything else was pretty generic, except Vaul's sexy accent, but Trozz's was just different, unique.

Enjoyed trozzs commentary, thought some of the information on timings and tactics was included well.

Very good comentaries, especially TomPhoenix, he defininitely knows the game and should be one of the best with more practice.
It's a though decision to vote for Trozz. His commentary was astounding but leaves the question of live performance.
cheers to all the commentators.

I'd argue that it is about when he commentates live cause the whole point of this was to find the best casters for the TSL

They already have great casters for the TSL. The only point that is hinted at is that there are far too many qualifier games to officially commentate so unofficial commentary would be helpful to fill the gap:

However, we still want to hear what YOU have to say about the games, so, we invite you all to participate in the PokerStrategy.com TSL Commentary Contest!
I never saw anything about trying to find the next great talent in live commentating. It was supposed to make watching the qualifier games a little more interesting than a replay pack.

Less then I expected. I was thinking its coming 1000 or so but looks like its not happening.

I listened to all entries and I felt like TomPhoenix and Raelcun were those who wasted the least amount of time on telling me what I can see on the screen on my own. Instead they provided useful information about the strategies and the development of the game. Since I prefer content over entertainment or a nice voice, I voted for those two. Maybe AlexLawrie would have been even better, but I didn't understand anything.

If Trozz doesn't win this I will lose faith in this community.

Why every one need do love poetic text? You like ballet, opera and that stuff, but I dont. Just blame all community for not loving same things as you do is just stupid. I belive that best commentator wins who ever it is.

Vaul said in his first video that Shaman is green Zerg xD And don't swear that much man
Also, I would recommend casters to hide replay progress bar with stormplugin from Chaoslauncher.
And yeah, Trozz - did you done that rap on fly or did you write it down and read it while watching the game and commenting? Pretty good job You got my vote
DejaVu119 I think you should have concentrate more on game then on explaining how TSL works (I think you did talk about it too much even if it was only at beginning of the match), nhf.

He talked a lot about starcraft and kept it pretty relevant to the game without doing the normal 'now he's getting some zealots, oh! an attack! that's a lot of dead guys.' Explaining why people do things and adding extra information makes it a lot better. Totally agree with that , the boy know a lot about SC he just need more confidence and excitement on the battles . Its to bad i don't have the posts needed to vote .My favorites are : 1st Trozz 2nd DejJaVu

Trozz should definitely get first. That commentary probably took him lot of effort to pull off.
