1. he killed all the tanks in the initial push even though he lost 2 nexiis, he had 2 left. 2. he had a good engagement in the second battle wiping out most of last's army, good storm and stasis. 3. last couldnt/didnt get a 4th up fast enough.

if TT1 is right and last only pushed with 1-0 in the end, then that was his losing mistake was not getting upgrades.

Twice in the game he chose to wait and macro up harder and do a "safe" attack, and each time he did that he gave Stork too much breathing room. The cheeses in Stork's first two games may have contributed to that feeling, the idea that even Stork thought he had no chance in a straight up game. Intentional or not I think Last got mind-gamed. I agree. Top tier protosses know how to break pushes and win against maxed out T armies. You cant just max and then expect to roll them over like other Ps. Whether or not Stork's cheese affected Last we dont know yet, but he certainly acted like he could easily beat Stork straight up

One thing I that for sure kept him in the game was the hero dark templar that killed off like 6 of Last's tanks right after Last killed Stork's third. I don't think Last scanned or noticed that DT there and that was crucial. Also, one other thing I noticed was that after killing Stork's 3rd Last went up to top with two vultures to block the 1 o'clock base's natural but he never went up the ramp to check the 1 o'clock. I think that he missed the fact that Stork already had the expansion up. Stork played with great pace this last match. Something I missed last season and in a couple of tough vT losses on his stream.

I couldn't understand it. Overjoy here. Stork fighting!!! Cut reinforcements and Terran traded his whole army mostly tanks for only 2 Nexus But he lost almost all his army in the counter attack killing basically nothing. It's just out of my mind!!! No he didnt, he was killing rallying vults and there was only 1 tank there

Stork is just more talented. lol, most of the korean pros would probably rather play Stork than Last. That's like saying Shine is more talented than Bisu because he wins head to head. How is that even close to being related to what I've said? Last practices a lot, he is constantly one of the best player online, but Stork, similar to when he was playing on samsung khan, can be one of the best players without the need to heavily practice. He's just good at the game, despite all the mistakes. So yeah, ofc most pros would rather play Stork. And Shine isn't more talented than Bisu, I don't know how you got that from my original post.

They were close (Bad for P), but the tank count was gone. all of that was vultures. no threat to Stork. He just needed to not die for a while. What I didnt catch is How/why Last screwed up the initial PuSh. There was no Way Stork should have broken out of that contain. He shldve just taken a few tanks to kill the Middle base. He instaed took everything and allowed Stork to get out of his NaTuRal. Totally agree, Last should've split his tank force to kill the 3 o'clock. He led a bunch of tanks into an envelope instead. People have lost wars that way, you know. :D

He was distance mining which is more effective than most expect. I thought it was very even after the initial push. If not a P advantage. Again, how Last managed to lose his entire army to a P that split his army and had the backstab group vaporized, I dont quite understand, he really underestimated stork then. He probably thought he already won. After that, if he really forgot upgrades then that was huge, but even if he didnt, it was going to be an uphill battle. Stork knows how to break pushes and trade units efficiently. Last stayed on 3 bases for too long. Maybe with upgrades he would have been able to hold the 4th and stabilize, but now we''ll never know...

Stork's play from then on out was stellar. He knew that Last's strength was in getting a good position, getting more expansions up, and just overwhelming Stork several minutes down the line when the loss of those Nexuses really kicked in. He wanted to trade off really quickly to prevent Last from moving out, and then when Last re-maxed and went for 9 o'clock, Stork moved in again to deny it, since it was Last's only hope at that point. Shaky start, but man did Stork pull it back.

I think Last saw the shuttle and knew it was drops. Oh thanks. Too much SC2 and noob at bw, forgive me already ok? :p

That makes perfect sense. Even the observer focused on that attack so it's very plausible Last did the same and just switched back to see he had nothing left of his initial army. I would like to watch the replay to confirm but I also suspect he indeed missed out on Stork's 1 o'clock expo, when he placed down the mines there and just turned around, so he might have decided to not expand because he thought he was still ahead anyway.
