Melee: Attack Closest, or Hold and Attack Closest (if I have lots of archers) Ranged: Fire and Retreat or whatever it is Spellcasters: Cast spells How do you effectively do different orders? If you tell cavalry to attack rear and they run headlong into the enemy troop wall, do they just do battle as normal then?

Also if I'm not mistaken it takes a morale check to actually move beyond squads that are in front of the units in the back no matter if your "rear-atacking-mans" come in contact with them or not, meaning higher morale = higher chance to actually reach the back. As for spells, you usually want to script the first 5 turns with whatever you want them to be doing, whatever it may be. Guard commander can be useful for archer decoys (put decoy in front with said orders, they'll run back to commander while kiting the enemies archers, pretty much guaranteed against the AI). There are a bunch of scripting tricks and as they say, google is ur friend .

The provinces he took have p low income though. Atlantis conquered a province with t0 gem site. Ulm has a rainbow pretender who's currently on site-searching duty Abysia got only 1 candle this turn I think. Could it be their prophet assasin is messing around in enemy dominion already !? And the struggle for ascension to godhood continues... IT. WAS. Worth it? ^_>

What are the rules about diplomacy, only in-game messages or are TL PMs ok as well? Lord Tolkien hires another group of mercs and gets 3 provinces this turn. All of them poor, his income is still in the middle range. Will someone attempt to buy the mercs away from him ?! Atlantis took too many losses last turn and doesn't take any provinces. Everyone else gets only 1 province this turn, including me, despite having an SC pretender. Agartha sent out one of their first mages out to search for provinces and it looks like it paid off. +2 gems/turn looks like a sick site to find this quickly :D Congratulations to Sir Edward Blackfirst, who has already reached more than 100 exp. What a beast! He's still under Lord Tolkien's contract for 2 more months, but the #2 in HoF can be hired right away :p

So far I've been buying mostly skinshifters because I seem to be a bit wanting on resources, and they only cost 7 each. They seem pretty good for expanding too because of regeneration?

He'll run away obv but you get to see exactly what's in there. He needs to have an adjacent province to retreat to though or POOF .

They always die and take HoF slots from other people. I'm just using them to burn through as many provinces as I can for now. As everyone noticed, my income is still worse than yours because Caelum during summer hue. even my cap only has Cold-1 which means im getting hugely income-screwed right now.

Vanheim and Atlantis haven't gained a province this turn, both increasing their armies. Vanheim has been hit by an ugly even this turn however; is it possible they conquered a province, but a random horse of barbs took one of theirs? Dominions giveth, and Dominions taketh away. Everyone else got 1 province this turn, except for me, because SC pretenders are op huehue Ulm has found their own 3gem site! Good lucky old Ulmish. Couldn't have happened to a nicer country. A new mercenary group, the Elephant crops led by Hannibal has arrived. Will the whoremonger Lord Tolkien snatch away this one also? The hall of fame is occupied mostly by prophets, 2 merc generals, 1 corpse and 1 indie commander. We shall see when will it start filling up with thugs and SCs!

No other reason for your income graph to drop like that It could be an unrest, poploss or provinceloss event, but I don't think there's any other explanation. Pretty sure upkeep isn't accounted for in the income graph Just waiting for our Attorney at Law now! Excited :3 If I understand the website correctly, our Attorney at Law has only 4.5 hours to make his move!? o.o Lol I am getting rapped in this expansion phase, god damnit :D
