This is a heated issue, but please keep the debate civil. Personal insult is not 'discussion' and will be moderated. -Pg 36 |
I find it amazing how people can discuss minor issues to death but fail to realise the real problem.
Who did fail at communication or whatever is basicly irrelevant. Stuff like that happens all the time.
THE ONLY thing that is worth discussing, and quite frankly, the thing where the fuss is about is the revalation of the private chat.
I read through this whole thread and basicly nobody emphasiced that Take didn't even POST his statement about legal actions, that too was a leaked privat chat by Mrs.Bain (look at the op).
You ask why Take is getting mad about something that lets him look good? Read the chat logs and this time realise that it isn't only about Axiom and TakeTV:
- Take revealed parts of the agreement with Acer which could get him into trouble (and yes Axiom said that Acer isn't mad about the leaking BUT that doesn't mean Acer could have a problem with Take talking to Mrs.Bain about that)
- Take said he helped Liquid out and he offered the same to Axiom. Did he do that for every team? Or only the teams in need? Or the teams clever enough to SAY they are in need (hypopheticaly). THAT is a huge deal. It implicates that not every team got the same treatment from the getgo. This could get Take into trouble as well.
- Liquid accepted Takes help. Ok Take is a nice person right, how is that a problem? Well maybe Liquid doesn't want people to know, that they got that help. Maybe especially not other teammanagers. So suddenly they realise that Take shared that information with someone else without their consent. You know where I'm getting with this.
And there are minor things concering the methods of communication, persons involved, etc which Take perhaps didn't want to be public.
In the end what Mrs.Bain did can hurt Take as a person and TakeTV as a company.
And THAT in my opinion is entitled to threat legal actions.

Even if you didn't think it was a big deal, Dennis obviously did. Fuck Dennis. If he wasn't so concerned about saving face rather than being honest with everybody about his mismanaged tournament then some of this might not have happened. When you say "I hope there are legal consequences for what you've done" all bets are off, I lose any respect I've had for you. I hope Take enjoyed the free casting and the numbers, I'll never deal with him and his organisation ever again. There were many small things in the past that made me feel that Take's company is kind of unprofessional, but I never had any proof. Now, threatening to sue someone in a scene as small as SC2 - what the fuck. I don't feel like supporting his company via watching anymore after reading this. There seems to be some serious bullshiting going on behind the scenes, and I will keep my views down to the professional streams then. Before reading this post, I felt like "Hm, I kinda don't like what take is doing, but hey, it's still a good portion of scene support and stuff". Well, Take lost at least one viewer permanently now, which is me. I feel a bit different, the silent fart rose to a huge pile of crap

After reading Intracacys blog “AxiomHate 2013 : The ATC Edition” I was, in spite of the sensationalist title, pleasantly surprised by how transparent it was in explaining how, quoted from the blog: “When communication fails, there are no winners”. However, I assumed that she asked for permission to place the private messages between her and TakeTV so that both/ all parties involved could benefit from the blog. The part in it about Liquid tingled my Spider sense a bit but I chose to ignore it I guess, thinking something like “I don't have all information, maybe Liquid was contacted and didn't mind”. Now that I know that that assumption was wrong I must say I feel very sorry for Take. He really didn't do anything wrong in my opinion and the way Total Biscuit responded to him after the emotional PRIVATE Skype call comes of as extremely self centered. Sure, it's hard to stay impartial if someone has an argument with your better half but you could at least try to understand someones position before, again, post the Skype conversation without permission (It was posted by Intracacy but I think I can now, safely assume Total Biscuit is not opposed to it). “Fuck Take” Really?
<3 to Take and I also sincerely hope that all of this doesn't have any repercussions for the axiom players; The've been through enough already.

I'm very curious to know why it's ok for Take to be emotional but it's not ok for Genna or myself to do the same. I guess the double standards shouldn't be surprising by now though.

Being emotional is one thing, posting private conversations is a completely other thing.

because being emotional and shit talking people and this community are different things. There was "Fuck take" and "we can talk this out, im still up for it" and you dont see the difference? The only thing you do is create drama and then complain about it like always.

Take was emotional in private, and only after Genna violated his privacy in the first place, and then proceeded to not take the hint and did it again. Then TB decided to spew emotional vitriol in all directions in public for no reason whatsoever. It's pretty pathetic actually when you break it down.

Because Take was emotional behind closed doors and Genna decided to drag it out into the public. He apologised for what he did ,but you can't see anything wrong with how your wife handled the whole situation and you are now blaming each and everyone for everything that happened, most of all Take himself with your childish "Fuck Take" tweet.
You absolutly lack the ability to admit that you and/or your wife are also to blame for this, but instead of manning up and apologising like Take did you go on a witchhunt and throw aroung words in hope some of them will stick.

If you really do not understand the difference (posting private things public and only react to it) you REALLY have to learn A LOT about being professional!!!!!

Don't go, stay and lift more of this vile and kick out those that like to run it down and dirty
If you want something to be private keep it in your head, the internet is hardly the place for it. Destiny learnt that the hard way >_<

Maybe because you are being a complete dick to everyone involved, swearing at people, calling them hurtful names and just spewing bullshit. Take on the other hand, stated his was angry.
So lets see...
Take:"I will still not publish stuff she said cause even if i am angry i will just describe a little bit..." and then explains the situation.
TB : "Fuck Dennis."
Hmm now TB let us think about this for a moment.......
Do you get it?
No? Ok whatever. You're hopeless.

He apologized for being emotional, recognized he made made mistakes, and feels sorry or the situation.
It would be nice if the same gestures would come from the other party. Fess-up, say sorry and move on. And next time, try to avoid doing this on a public forum. (and hire a PR manager with a bit longer fuse than yourself)
