This whole story showed, at least my humble self, what a "shitstorm" is, how it can start and some more. I think communication in our day and age has developed, new mechanics like this so called "shitstorm", have emerged but we have yet to grow accustomed to them, no one actually wanted this "shitstorm" to happen, no one profits from it it just hurts everyone, the readers the fans and foremost the people involved. So i dare to say, this tread should be read and people should try learn from it that the communication in the interent has its own dynamics, its own flow. Well, unless you're entirely new to the internet, I disagree with your post. This garbage is getting really old. It should have been learned from even the beta SC2 days not to take issues publicly to the community.

Instead, I'll just chime in and say, TB, just leave. Go TMZ and "let your passion for e-sports out" reviewing World of Tanks 2 or something else. Talking heads pushing garbage like this and publicly arguing like the teenagers they monetize just belittles and ruins the scene to no end. When you and other people in this community act like this, all it does is take substance away from the game, and that's salt in the wound when you consider how much substance blizzard had the game come boxed with. When anyone gives people a reason to focus on this stupid shit, it takes away from the hard work of the players. Like any game or sport, the players make the game worth watching. Baseball is just some dipshit hitting a ball and some other noobs trying to catch it, if no one puts and incredible competitve energy into it. SC2 is no different. The players that work so hard to show us again and again where the pinnacle of play is, and that is what gives the game any value. They make the scene worth being interested in. When people TMZ/Dramatize/ect and act childish for whatever purpose, you belittle that effort, and take away from it. The attraction to the scene then instead comes from fluff and drama instead of big plays and big cheers. Not so sure? Maybe you should compare /r/dota2 to /r/starcraft on almost any given day. I will certainly say, It sure is refreshing to watch GIF's of amazing plays at Ti3 instead of browsing /r/starcraft to see what some talking head weighs in on about some bullshit that has no importance to begin with. So if you (or anyone else who bothered to read this) don't want to set a good example, then just leave. Any attention you intentionally or inadvertently draw to this shit, while maybe good for you or your image or your wallet, just belittles the players, kills their game, and eventually saddens their fans. Edit: a word or 2 and grammar

Therefore, you can't expect the invited teams to assume that they're having to cover the travel-expenses themselves. I am not taking any sides here, I am just trying to stick to the facts that I know of. But then again, this is still just my opinion. You can't seriously expect someone to provide up to 10k on flight costs for you without checking it with them.

Sadly, I'm going to have to agree, even when this thread isn't so much about him. At least, take a vacation/break for a while and learn how to be a better community personality.

It isn't 'uncovering the veil', it's just bad business.

Poor PR handling aside, I hope the community tends to side with TB when these conflicts come up. He's had a track record of trying to do the right thing.

You don't release a private chat between business partners in an official capacity. TaKe might very well speak differently if he thought it would be published, but he assumed like any other reasonable person that Axiom wouldn't use the chats publicly.

Once TB stops summoning shitstorms, insulting people and acts professionally the community (or at least I) will glady side with him if he hasn't done anything wrong. Best case scenario we won't have to side with anybody of course, because matters like these are best kept privat.

My thoughts on what happened... Both sides fucked up, Genna and TB dealing with personal problems let things get too personal/emotional in their statement. I don't agree with what TB is saying but I get it, the man is defending his wife. Like I said I don't agree with him but I fully respect that he is willing to stand up for Genna like this. TLDR: Both sides fucked up, Axiom probably a little bit more but meh. Either way I still love both parties and will support both in the future. Also on a side note, it's been a while since some stupid shit storm drama popped up(Unless I missed something?) This has to be a record for E-sports on going like 3 weeks with no drama -.-

It's sad that you are retiring, but more sad that so many people want to attack you on your way out. Thanks for all you've done in creating and running Axiom and wish you all the best in the future. I hope people will still support and cheer for Axiom and their players, and I hope people will still support Take. Most of all I hope people stop trying to find out who the 'guilty party' is in every bit of drama and destroy their career. Startcraft 2 can't afford that kind of pettiness if it wants to thrive. Gl in your other endeavors Genna!

If thers one great person in eSports its most def Dennis Gehlen, the work and effort he has put into making eSports become what it is today, is simply put extraordinary. But ye, posting conversations without the approvel of the ones u've spoken with is both immature and a "dick-move" in my book. GL HF with ur life, hopefully you won't break down next time u meet bump on the road.
