the brackets are updated before the replays are sent to the ASL broadcasters. so, there is potential to spoil the live broadcast for viewers.

Yo respectfully who the hell cares about ASL quals spoilers man ? This forum has some questionable takes for 2025. You cant even post memes or u getting banned. On top of that the cast is in Korean. Is there a single foreigner that cares about spoilers for a qualifier ??

Btw i think a better take will be. You can spoil after this first page. That is a way better take. So if you are actually going to page 2 and 3 you are basically at your own risk. Keep it clean for page 1 if you want to click on the stream or wathever.
The fck do you mean Effort makes it to the ASL and i need to reserve that excitement.

Hoping for sSak, ZeLot, TY. Looking at the list of Protoss not sure who would add a lot to the tournament. So I guess I hope Bisu makes it. Bisu not too exciting these days tho. Ruin would be cool. Don't know if he's trying this season.

edit: as for spoilers, I think it's fine to talk about the matches openly in the thread lol. Especially beyond the first page.

Why would someone want free to make it? He has literally 0% chance to make a deep run, play extremely standard and below ASL standards.

For me it's less about deep runs and more about who can make the ro24 exciting. I am always rooting for people who are confident in their own style and want to show something different. Added bonus if an upset is possible. These guys who play differently create slightly more volatile games and the chance for an upset in the future rounds feels slightly greater. C-grade stock-standard play doesn't excite me as much as a viewer. I also don't think I'd ever enter a Brood War career trying to be the best standard macro player, lol. So props to all those guy that do.

I'm also not sure how worthwhile it is for an amateur to make it only to get disintegrated in the ro24. I think my interest in good games outweighs my empathy for someone who has tried and failed many times. I don't think anyone would want a handout anyways, they all want to earn it. And I think if you win that final round of the quals, as long as it isn't a cheesefactory, you deserve to be in the ro24.
