Holy damn, sorry to hear it ended up this way. Best of luck to you and the team, Genna.

Professionalism- Posting chat logs that state that the individual does not want chat logs made public.

Uh... no. Everything was nice and settled, and then Take threatened to sue Axiom for posting chat logs which made him look like a wonderful human being. Genna has undergone ordeals throughout the past year that generate the kind of stress most people couldn't endure. No doubt this last incident was the straw that broke the camel's back.
edit: It's actually kind of eerie how the notion that Take was directly threatening to sue Axiom managed to slip into my subconscious. Also interesting. I love a good opportunity for interesting introspection.

I'm sure there was as you are pretty reasonable, but still, she shouldnt let someone else destroy all her hardwork so easily.
Dude if you even knew a fraction of all of the stuff she's had to deal with, you wouldn't be saying that and I doubt anyone in this thread that wasn't just a troll would. She's had enough and I don't blame her.

seriously, this is all totally ridiculous, i feel like we are about to email EG's sponsors

TB's reaction to someone threatening to legally pursue his wife is absolutely justified. What would you do - NOT support the women you love and is married to? Come on...
Despite whatever may be the issue you have to realize that threatening with a lawsuit is a 100% sure way to make enemies. If you expect otherwise then you're not very bright.
I like transparency and I have no doubt that there is a lot of immature childish shit going on in e-sports. We can probably find a lot of other profiled people who share that opinion.

Since when is wishing threatening?
edit to clarify: He even said he only wishes that it was punishable.

When you say "I hope there are legal consequences for what you've done" all bets are off, I lose any respect I've had for you. I hope Take enjoyed the free casting and the numbers, I'll never deal with him and his organisation ever again. I have to agree with that sentiment. Maybe that first blog post was not entirely thought through (directly quoting private conversations instead of paraphrasing or summarizing). It's a small mistake, Genna could have reached out to Acer directly if she felt the need to apologize after Take points out that some feathers are ruffled. I'm sure Axiom has a pretty decent relationship with Acer. Take is taking it over the top with the legal threats, I'm rather disgusted. Regardless, it sounds like if it wasn't this bullshit, the next one would have been the straw that broke the camel's back. All the best to Genna.

I can't believe TaKe said that. He looked like such a good guy till then.

Wait what. Why is she retiring?
And Take is obnoxious anyway.

Where is the exact threat? I see a wishfull-angry guy that even uses a "?" wish surely indicates that he has no real clue about the law situation. I would take it seriously if i get a paper in my mail.

I'm not sure I understand why you're retiring. Because of something stupid someone said in a private chat about something stupid?
|
Definitely wasn't expecting this at all. Good luck, Genna. I love what you've done with Axiom, and I can't wait to see the team continue

small event... big drama! ESPORTS!

Gennas first duty was to the team, that means damage control, that means showing our side of the story and that means minimizing how slammed we got because the statement that was put out threw Axiom under the boss while saving face for ATC, regardless of poor communication and mismanagement that event suffered.
I agree, but I feel like she didn't need to post the chat logs to achieve this end, she could have told the story without giving out the logs, or at the very least asked Take if she could post them.

Geez, I really don't get why Take freaked out like that, sounded pretty ridiculous.

tt hope for the best, whatever that is, I guess

Genna had already talked about all of this with Acer, we maintain a good relationship with them and they were not in fact pissed off that we posted that stuff at all. Acer would have no doubt done exactly the same thing if they had come under fire. The first duty of a team manager is to protect their team, not protect 3rd parties. We learned that when we tried to do what was right for Demuslim and Sasquatch in WCS after MLGs admin fucked up and were crucified for that as well.
