There were tons of deaths and mistakes. I'm not going to upload this one, I'll wait until I get one I actually kinda like. Congrats on the run I hope you manage to beat it if you don't like it. I know my 4:42 in days annoyed the hell out of me for days (lol) until I ended up crushing it.

I'll try to run some Dustforce once I'll buy a pad, the game is insanely cool, but hard as hell with a keyboard. And I thought Super Meat Boy was difficult. And gratz for the Commander Keen record !

I've never tuned into the show before, and I've definitely been missing out. It's been great today. So many good speedrunning news, good footage, and a great way to keep up with everything that's going on. I don't know how you have time to collect all of these videos and news, but major props.

So I was watching OOT speedruns last night because I was just putting things on to distract me. I stumbled upon this run last night and was thoroughly impressed when I stumbled upon for these Commander Keen 4 runs. I had no idea that this was you. Kudos to you sir, many many kudos.

It is official. The Dig has beaten me. There is no way that I can come up with a "safe" method of doing the fast strategy on this mission for the marathon. If I mess it up, even while doing granny strats and taking it slow, then I can lose time over just doing it the slow way. The problem lies in the fact that sometimes when I nuke the ramp, the observer just trolls me and doesn't die. If this happens it wastes so much time that I'll wind up behind the normal method. Even if the observers do die, I have to make a mad dash through the opening, and this can fail as well. So at the marathon I'll be doing The Dig the boring, non speedrunning way. I'll still come in beneath my estimate without too many issues, but it's frustrating that I can't showcase how flashy that mission can be. Shatter the Sky has become a problem as well, as Blizzard appears to have patched several of the AI behaviors that allowed for the 4 minute run. I have managed to get it down to 10 minutes, and can probably optimize it even further to 9 or 8. The rest of the run is looking good, and just requires practice. I'll be grinding it out a lot in the next few weeks. At this point, as long as I put in enough time, this will look really good for the marathon. In other news, a Razer exec agreed to get the MVP players to sign a mousepad as a prize for the marathon. So the prizes for the Starcraft 2 run are looking pretty sweet.
